The crowd in attendance at a vigil at Auckland's Aotea Square cheered loudly when Attorney-General David Parker said the Government would ban semi-automatic rifles. Who should be held accountable for that?" **I was waiting for this to happen. The guy was using an automatic as well, which is illegal. To get a licence, one must go on a course, your partner is asked if they are ok with it & then you are then interviewed by a police officer or by a trained authourised person & vetted at your place even showing where the gun will be stored before you even buy the gun.
