Comey Leaked Memos Order Spark Mueller Probe Says Doesn’t Care What Investigation Uncovers

James Comey claimed in an op-ed Thursday that he does not care one way or the other whether special counsel Robert Mueller finds evidence that President Donald Trump conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election or obstructed the FBI’s collusion probe. But the claim, which Comey made in The New York Times, is at odds with the former FBI director’s testimony about his actions shortly after being fired by Trump in May 2017. Farming while Palestinian World Water outrage

Every year since 1993, the UN has marked March 22 as World Water Day. This date gives us the opportunity to raise the profile of water both as a fundamental need to sustain life, and as a human right – which the UN General Assembly declared it was in July 2010. This year’s World Water Day theme – “leave no one behind” – has an acutely jarring ring when applied to Israel. Since 1967 when Israel issued several military orders asserting its control over all water sources in the newly occupied territories (Palestinians were denied the right to drill wells or repair existing ones and the orders decreed that any Palestinian water installation built without a permit would be destroyed), its policies have been aimed at depriving Palestinians access to the water they once enjoyed, and punishing them for further use. The result is that Palestinian agriculture which, according to World Bank figures, accounted for 13 percent of the Palestinian GDP in 1994, accounts for only three percent today. Israel hold referendum replacing Britain

Benjamin Netanyahu has promised the Israeli people a referendum on joining the European Union, after Brussels said a space was up for grabs after Britain leaves. The prime minister, fighting corruption allegations during an election countdown, made the comment during a press conference about the Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Israel in May. Sanders, Warren, Harris, and O’Rourke take a stand on racism at AIPAC that Schumer and Pelosi ignore

Náhled

Have you followed the news from Israel? A rightwing society has been veering ever rightward during the election campaign, just about going out of its mind. The Justice Minister is running an ad in which she samples a perfume called Fascism and seems to like it fine. Another member of parliament once allied with the ruling coalition put out a campaign video in which he is seen shooting dead a Palestinian lawmaker, because that Palestinian is anti-Zionist and said he’d rather die than sing the national anthem. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) suggests Congress should ban “semiautos, & high cap mags.” She also called for a ban on bump stocks, which the Department of Justice banned in December 2018. Ocasio-Cortez issued her gun control calls after teachers in Indiana were shot with plastic projectiles during an active shooter drill. Číst dále >>> Přeložit do cs
