media thumbnail Clear the runway for Princess Anne! The Queen’s only daughter, 69, presented The Queen Elizabeth Award for British Design at London Fashion Week on Tuesday, marking the Princess Royal’s first time at the coveted event. To commemorate the moment, the Royal Family’s official Instagram account posted stories of the princess’ most iconic fashion moments over the years, from her retro ensembles in the late ’60s to some of her classic fashion forward pieces into the ’80s. There’s no denying Anne, who is known for recycling her outfits, has had a flair for fashion. In one Instagram Story, Anne is seen in her early twenties as she’s grilling by the water at the royal family’s Scottish home at Balmoral Castle. The princess looked laid-back but fashionable in a blue button-down and her hair perfectly blown back in a middle part. RELATED:  Queen Elizabeth, in Regal Purple, Joins Only Daughter Princess Anne for Church in Scotland At the event on Tuesday, Anne wore an elegant green coat over a matching green dress, topped with some delicate pieces of gold jewelry. The princess presented the award to Rosh Mahtani of Alighieri jewelry, who was praised for the craftsmanship of her pieces, which used responsibly sourced materials to help promote local manufacturing and support employment. Anne, president of the U.K. Fashion & Textile Association, follows in the footsteps of other royals, including her own mother who made her London Fashion Week debut in 2018 to present the award to designer Richard Quinn, whose show she sat front row of alongside U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and British Fashion Council chief executive Caroline Rush. In 2019, Anne’s sister-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall presented the same award to Bethany Williams. The Queen Elizabeth Award for British Design was established in 2018 and recognizes young designers who are both talented and making a difference to society through sustainable practices or community engagement. Amber Portwood Heads Court Face Domestic Battery Charge Teen Trailer

media thumbnail Amber Portwood is facing the consequences of her arrest on a domestic battery charge last summer. In a new trailer for the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG , Portwood is seen walking into a courthouse with a producer. On July 5, 2019, Portwood, 29, was arrested after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he was holding their son, James . The day after the incident, the MTV star was reportedly charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. In October, Portwood — who is also mom to 11-year-old daughter Leah with ex Gary Shirley — reportedly signed a plea deal  and was sentenced to 2.5 years of probation, as well as court-ordered parenting classes. RELATED: Teen Mom OG‘s Amber Portwood Discusses Her Mental Health Struggles Before Arrest — ‘I Blow Up’ While the latest trailer doesn’t divulge many details surrounding Portwood’s arrest, a previous teaser showed her costars Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout reacting to the news. While Portwood has yet to discuss the incident in detail, she denied the allegations  during the Teen Mom OG reunion in September. “I literally opted out of drug court a long time ago to put myself in prison to help myself,” she said. “Why would I jeopardize… you haven’t heard s— from me since then, haven’t gotten in trouble one time. But all of a sudden I’m running after him with a machete? You’re insane.” Portwood also seemingly criticized Glennon for texting that he was in danger to a 911 operator. “A text message, by the way. I just want to point that out real quick to everybody. But I ran after him with a machete,” she said. “Let me tell you what, if somebody’s coming after me with something like that, I’m calling the f—ing police and running out the door.” Teen Mom OG returns March 17 on MTV. media thumbnail Ashley Graham is continuing to be transparent about the realities of the postpartum body. Sharing a nude photo that saw her covering her breasts with one arm and presumably taking the shot with the other hand, the supermodel showed off a number of purple-tinged stretch marks across the lower area of her torso. “Same me. Few new stories,” Graham, 32, wrote in the accompanying text. Many of Graham’s fellow models chimed in on the comments in support — like mother-of-two Lily Aldridge , who wrote, “Beautiful” and dropped in three red heart emojis. “Stunning Číst dále >>> Přeložit do en

10-Year-Old Girl Killed in Car Crash Helped More than 80 People With Organs, and Driver Is Charged

media thumbnail A California woman faces criminal charges in connection with a car crash that killed a 10-year-old girl whose organs helped more than 80 people. On Friday, six months after the death of Francine Salazar, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office charged Sara Spagnolini with felony vehicular manslaughter , local station ABC30 reports. She was also charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, a misdemeanor, and issued two traffic infractions for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign and going at an unsafe speed for prevailing conditions. The criminal charges stem from the horrific crash on Aug. 7 that killed the spunky fifth-grader. On the afternoon of the accident, Francine’s mother, Hanah Salazar, had just picked up Francine and her siblings from their after-school program, ABC7 reports. She planned to surprise them with a stop for ice cream so she took a different route than usual. She was heading to the ice cream shop when authorities say Spagnolini, who was driving a Volkswagon sedan, slammed into her Kia minivan when she allegedly blew through a stop sign at a rural four-way intersection.  Spagnolini told California Highway Patrol she was driving at speeds of 60 to 80 miles per hour , the Visalia Times Delta reports. The five children in the minivan, ages 3, 5, 6, 10 and 12, were all wearing their seat belts or using “safety equipment,” CHP officers said, the Visalia Times Delta reports. Francine, who was sitting in the back, was left brain dead from her injuries. She died on Aug. 10 but before that, in a “final act of kindness,” her family made the decision to donate her organs. The donation would go on to save six people and help 75 others, the Donor Network West told ABC7. “My daughter is a caring, loving, selfless person, and she would help everybody before herself,” Hanah Salazar told ABC 7. Hanah braided her daughter’s hair one last time before she went into the operating room, ABC 7 reports.  Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Among her last words to her daughter, were “Mommy will be fine. We will all be fine; you go ahead and go to the light, to God,” ABC7 reports. Staff lined the hallway as she was wheeled into the room. A Gofundme page that had been set up to help the family described Francine as “full of life, with dreams and aspirations. “Francine was and will be continued to be loved by her family and friends,” the page said. “Remembering her spunky little self just makes our heart ache. There are no words to describe our sadness for losing Francine at such a young age.” It’s unclear whether Spagnolini has entered a plea or retained an attorney who can speak on her behalf. In January, Francine’s family filed a civil lawsuit against Tulare County and Spagnolini. The Tulare County District attorney’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. View this post on Instagram #WELLNESSWEEK @marniealton @mbodybymarniealton This woman is my long time teacher and dear important friend. She has helped me. Healed me. Encouraged me to keep going when I felt like being strong was an insurmountable task. We have known each other for about 15 years and when I told her I wanted to transform my body for #SANTACLARITADIET she helped me. Every spring, when I would start training to become #SHEILAHAMMOND Marnie was the one who got me there. I lost 20 pounds and trained like a mother. She also is the most amazing person. She is poetry in a human being. The best heart. Her priorities are in the right place. She is humorous and so so so knowledgeable about our bodies. I love her. Inside and out. Her classes are always booked up and we all love to run to her for her spirit and leadership for all things healthy. Boston Player Named Daughter ‘Kobie’ Honor Kobe Bryant There Secret There

media thumbnail Baseball player Kevin Pillar has always been a big fan of Kobe Bryant — so much so that the Boston Red Sox outfielder even named his daughter after the late NBA star. Pillar, who spent time with the San Francisco Giants last season before joining the Sox, grew up in Los Angeles and was a big fan of Bryant and the Lakers team, ESPN reported . During his time with the franchise, Bryant won three championships from 2000 to 2002, before earning his final two NBA titles in 2009 and 2010. When Pillar’s daughter was born in October 2017, the 31-year-old saw it as the perfect chance to pay tribute to his basketball hero — and he and his wife, Amanda, picked the name “Kobie” for their baby girl. “My wife wouldn’t admit to naming her after Kobe Bryant,” Pillar previously told the Toronto Sun , “But it was a name I grew up around and obviously I was a big Kobe Bryant fan, there’s no secret there.” RELATED: NBA Renames All-Star Game MVP Award After Kobe Bryant Following His Death “We wanted to name our daughter something with a ‘K,'” Pillar explained. “We wanted her to be KP; that was the nickname I had growing up. We bounced around a bunch of different ‘K’ names, and Kobe came out one day on a road trip and the name Kobie Rae came out and it was in our final two.” “We waited until she was born,” he continued. “Maybe 30 minutes after she was born, we decided on her name.” RELATED: From NBA Star to Devoted Family Man: Kobe Bryant’s Life in Photos Pillar’s tribute undoubtedly takes on increased meaning after Bryant’s tragic death in a Jan. 26 helicopter crash, which also killed his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others. According to ESPN , Pillar said he was at the park with his wife and his daughter, full name Kobie Rae, when he received the news of the tragedy. RELATED:  Everything You Need to Know About the 2020 NBA All-Star Game in Chicago “I’ll have that memory as long as I live,” Pillar told ESPN. Like Bryant before him, Pillar had hoped to one day write children’s books following his athletic career. He planned on approaching Bryant for advice when the time came. “That’s something that’s going to haunt me,” he admitted. Earlier this month, the New York Times announced that three of Bryant’s books that he co-wrote with his production company, Granity Studios, took the top three spots  on its middle grade hardcover best-seller list. “I enjoy stories and creating content that’s going to move people,” Bryant told Sports Illustrated in March 2019, while discussing his book,The Wizenard Series: Training Camp, the first book in his inspirational YA series. The Lakers legend added: “I enjoy creating things that you can look at and say, ‘That forced me to look inward and challenge myself, or challenge others.’” Bryant, 41, was honored over the weekend at the 2020 NBA All-Star Game in Chicago. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced on Saturday that the All-Star Game’s MVP award would permanently be named after Bryant. Kawhi Leonard of the L.A. Clippers was the first recipient of the award. If you would like to help the families of the victims of the crash, consider donating to the Mamba on Three Fund . She recently came under fire for her involvement in a past photoshoot that was part of a marine conservation effort that featured the phrases “White Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter.” The modeling gig was highlighted by Cosmopolitan‘s editor-in-chief Jessica Pels after announcing that the magazine would not be releasing Fuller’s digital cover , which was promised after she won a Bachelor group date in Costa Rica. On Feb. 15, Fuller shared a statement on her Instagram Story and apologized for her involvement in the campaign . “I would like to sincerely apologize for my involvement with We Love Marlins,” Fuller began. “My intention was only to support an endangered species. I want to say that I unequivocally reject the beliefs of the white lives matter movement or any propaganda that supports racism of any kind. I would like to specifically apologize to people of color that are affected by racism daily. It was never my intention to add fuel to the racial fire in this country.” “This has truly been an educational moment for me and I hope to be a voice against racism moving forward,” she added. “I hope I can be shown grace as I navigate through this process.” Prior to her Cosmo cover being pulled, Fuller had apologized for her actions in the comments section of a post shared by the Instagram account BachelorClues. The company ‘We Love Marlins’ is in support of catching white, blue, and black marlins & releasing them back into the wild. In regards to a sensitive topic, I come from a VERY large fishing town where Marlin tournaments are held every year! Glad to clear this up….” However, when one user advised Fuller to apologize, she added, “I definitely see how this could be offensive.
