Lisa Vanderpump's Restaurant Blasts Guest Claiming They Got Sick and Defecated on Floor

Náhled

media thumbnail Lisa Vanderpump ‘s famed restaurant SUR is firing back at a woman who filed a lawsuit against the establishment, claiming to have gotten so intensely ill while eating there two years ago that she began to vomit “profusely” before “defecating” on the floor. “SUR has been in business for 15 years and serves over 150,000 patrons a year,” SUR co-owner Nathalie Zapata tells PEOPLE following news of the lawsuit. “Nothing is more important to us than the care and enjoyment of our patrons. We have maintained our ‘A’ rating from the department of health and regular checks from the health department. We have no record of this ever happening from two years ago in 2017,” Zapata says. “We or our attorneys have yet to see the complaint just filed, 24 months after this alleged incident.” Furthermore, Zapata says if this incident were to have happened, it would have been captured on camera. “If someone had vomited and defecated on the floor, it would have immediately been reported to the health department and would have been on our cameras or others,” Zapata adds. The restaurant was made popular by the Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules , which follows SUR’s staff as they work on building their futures in show business all while battling drama at the restaurant. The alleged incident involving the woman took place on Aug. 19, 2017, according to the court documents obtained by The Blast . In the documents, the woman says she was on vacation with her family in Los Angeles when they decided to dine at SUR, adding that they had not eaten anything else that day. The woman ordered “white fish covered with an orange cream sauce on her plate, along with broccoli and potatoes,” according to the documents. An hour after starting to eat the meal, the woman claims “ head suddenly whipped back, causing her body to move backwards as well, as she felt a hot sensation rise from her stomach, into her chest and then into her throat that she was unable to control.” RELATED: Do They Really Still Work at SUR? The Vanderpump Rules Cast Spills the Secrets Behind the Show She alleges that the reaction didn’t stop there. “Her head came forward while vomit filled her mouth, and began vomiting profusely.” The situation allegedly got so out of control that the woman fell to the floor on her knees and “continued to vomit,” according to the court documents. She claims that’s when she also began to “defecate through her clothing.” She “was unable to stop vomiting or defecating as she kneeled on the floor, causing clothing to soil,” the court documents explain. Vanderpump, 58,  has not yet addressed the incident publicly. It’s been a rough couple of years for the reality star as her brother Mark, a DJ, was found dead of a suspected overdose at his home in England in April 2018. It was later determined he died by suicide. He was 59. Just 14 months later, Vanderpump’s mother Jean died at the age of 84. Vanderpump honored her late family members in June, sharing a photo of them together alongside her and her father. “As you go to RIP with Mark, mummy. A tragic year for sure,” Lisa wrote. In addition to the deaths, Vanderpump has officially said goodbye to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons. The video montage, shared in July, first played footage of Vanderpump sashaying down a hallway while wearing a long, black gown with her husband, Ken Todd, walking behind her. The clip, which played a slow, saxophone tune, was followed by a smiling photo of Vanderpump with overlaying text that read, “The Pump has left the building.” RELATED: See Inside Lisa Vanderpu Číst dále >>> Přeložit do en

Bachelor in Paradise: Demi Makes a Decision About Derek as Her Girlfriend Arrives in Mexico

media thumbnail WARNING: The following post contains spoilers. Another week, another love triangle . As Tuesday’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise began, the focus was on one very conflicted Demi Burnett . On the one hand, she had real feelings for Derek Peth , but on the other hand, she couldn’t stop thinking about Kristian, the woman she’d been dating back in Los Angeles before the show. She decided to confide in Chris Harrison , admitting she couldn’t imagine not having Kristian in her life. And the closer she got to Derek, the more she thought about Kristian. “I don’t want to lose anyone,” she said. “One of them deserves to have all of me — but I’m scared that I’m not going to make the right choice.” RELATED: Bachelor in Paradise‘s Derek Peth Applauds Demi Burnett for Being ‘Honest’ About Her Sexuality Derek was as understanding as could be, but he couldn’t help but feel hurt that Demi’s heart was divided. “Demi confirmed that she still has these feelings for somebody else and I don’t care if that’s a man or a woman,” he said. “It’s just hard to know that there is another person there.” Kristina v. Caitlin Meanwhile, the rest of the beach was very much coupled up: There was Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones , Nicole Lopez-Alvar and Clay Harbor , Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert , Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski, and Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour . The only floaters were Kristina Schulman , Blake Horstmann and newbie Caitlin Clemmens from Colton Underwood ‘s season of  The Bachelor . Caitlin was still interested in Blake after their date, but was starting to feel like Kristina — who had saved Blake at the last rose ceremony — might hinder their relationship. “I like Blake. I’m still curious about him. I definitely want to show him that I’m still super interested,” she said. “I just think it will be very difficult for me to progress anywhere with him with Kristina hanging around.” Kristina, for her part, said she didn’t have feelings for Blake, but rather wanted his “friendship rose” so she could stick around. But not everyone was convinced it was platonic. “Every time has a connection, gets in between,” Caelynn said. “And I don’t know how he hasn’t realized it yet.” And Tayshia claimed it was “known” that Kristina still had feelings for Blake. “Unfortunately, I wouldn’t put it past Kristina to try to ruin any relationships,” she said. RELATED: BiP‘s Kristina Schulman Defends Giving Blake Horstmann Her Rose — ‘Everyone Deserves Love’ As the evening went on, Caitlin got more and more worked up, calling Kristina “awful,” “atrocious” and “f—ing manipulative.” “Kristina is like the mosquitoes here,” she said. “She’s just sucking the life out of everyone. And tonight we’re going to squish the mosquito.” She eventually pulled her aside and asked what her “motive” was with Blake. Kristina insisted that Blake was just a friend, but as Caitlin continued to question her intentions and accused her of chasing “friendship roses instead of letting people find authentic relationships,” Kristina got heated. The confrontation ended with Caitlin walking away, calling Kristina “impossible” to talk to. “I don’t know how Kristina can sit there and be happy with herself at the end of all of this, knowing that she’s doing th Číst dále >>> Přeložit do en

RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter Claims Estranged Husband Had an Affair Before Divorce Filing

Náhled

media thumbnail Gina Kirschenheiter broke down in tears on Tuesday’s Real Housewives of Orange County as she alleged that her estranged husband Matt Kirschenheiter had an affair — and claimed that he was still seeing the other woman. The 35-year-old Long Island native spilled her claims to costar Emily Simpson , saying afterwards that she felt “a sense of relief” and “weight off shoulders.” “I’ve just been carrying it around for so long and not being able to talk about it,” Gina said, through her cries. “It does feel good, at least, to just say it and try to heal from it.” Matt has never appeared on RHOC, his former employer forbidding he film the Bravo show when Gina began on the series. He had no comment when reached by PEOPLE about Gina’s allegations. RELATED: RHOC‘s Gina Kirschenheiter Reveals Why Her Marriage Fell Apart — and Why She’s Not Divorced Yet As fans will recall, Gina joined RHOC last season, just as she and Matt decided to go their separate ways. (She filed for divorce from Matthew last April after eight years of marriage.) Back then, the reality star, who shares three kids with Matt — sons Nicholas, 7, and Luca, 4, as well as daughter Sienna, 5 — denied to PEOPLE that he was unfaithful, claiming that their relationship had simply “run its course.” But on Tuesday’s episode, she was more candid, telling Simpson, 43, that she kept the alleged affair a secret from the Orange County Housewives in an effort to shield the news from their children. “When I filed for divorce and meeting everyone going forward for our kids’ sake, I just felt like it wasn’t necessary to share that. I didn’t want to take that from my kids,” Gina said. “Plus, I wasn’t with him anymore so it didn’t matter. So I just let it go. We’ve been co-parenting really well and I was so proud of us.” “I thought I was doing the right thing, to protect my kids and that’s all that really matters to me,” she confessed. “I don’t want my kids to think their father is a bad person, ’cause he’s not. I don’t want to be the reason that anyone would look at him badly. He’s not a bad person, it’s just hard.”  According to Gina, Matt first began his alleged extramarital affair when the two first moved to Orange County from New York. Luca was 4 months old at the time. “We tried to work through it the best we could,” Gina claimed. “We were in therapy it opened our eyes to other problems in the relationship.” She claimed that Matt never told her his relationship with his alleged mistress was still going on. Gina learned the two were allegedly still dating, she said on Tuesday’s episode, when she claimed she found a Valentine’s Day card the woman had written to Matt in his car. “I found out that he was still seeing this woman and has been for the past six months. And he didn’t tell me,” Gina alleged. “It hurts.” “Finding the card felt like the day that I found out about the affair in the first place and it brought me immediately back to that moment,” Gina told audiences. “So I got really scared because I didn’t want to go back to that bad place that I was in when it all first happened because I can’t go back there.” View this post on Instagram #SundayFunday with the family out on the water Číst dále >>> Přeložit do en

Larry King’s Divorce Long Time Coming Says Source Hadn Been Happy Long Time

media thumbnail Larry King ‘s decision to file for divorce from Shawn Southwick King did not come as a shock to those who knew the couple well. Though Larry and his seventh wife were married for 22 years, a source close to the television personality tells PEOPLE that their divorce was “a long time coming,” especially after Larry’s recent health scare and Shawn’s alleged affair in 2016 . “Larry was close to dying and it really shook him,” the source says. “He realized that he hadn’t been happy for a long time.” In April, Larry suffered angina and he underwent angioplasty . At the time, the CNN host, 85, also had stents inserted to reopen the previous bypass from a heart attack he suffered in 1987. “They fought and argued all the time,” the source continues. “But also it’s about protecting his kids. Shawn and Larry had essentially been separated for a decade. They sleep in separate bedrooms.” “Larry is no saint, but he was tired of all the drama,” the source adds, confirming that previous reports of Shawn’s alleged affair were true. “This was a long time coming. The marriage has been over.” Shawn did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. RELATED: Larry King and Seventh Wife Shawn Divorcing After Nearly 22 Years of Marriage Larry and Shawn, 59, wed on Sept. 5, 1997. They share two sons: Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19. On Tuesday, Larry’s lawyer confirmed to PEOPLE that he had filed for divorce from Shawn after nearly 22 years of marriage. The Blast first reported news of the split. According to court documents Larry filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. He cited irreconcilable differences, and the date of separation is listed as June 6, 2019. The Kings’ marriage was a rocky one: Sources confirmed to PEOPLE in 2016 that the broadcast icon was distraught about an alleged yearlong affair his wife had been having. “It’s true, and Larry is completely embarrassed and anguished by all of this,” one source close to the situation  told PEOPLE of the alleged infidelity . “He doesn’t know what to do.” Another insider claimed to PEOPLE that Shawn, a former singer and TV host, told her alleged lover that her marriage to Larry was over. RELATED: A Look at Larry King’s Ups and Downs Over His 8 Past Marriages — A Complete Relationship Timeline But Larry and Shawn denied any reports of cheating in an interview with Home & Family in August 2016. “You said an interesting word, ‘rumor.’ I’ve been in the business — next May, it’ll be 60 years — and I’ve dealt with rumors a long time,” he said. “Interviewed people involved with rumors. Rumors are what they are — they’re rumors. And I tell you the truth, I don’t pay any attention to them.” Added Shawn: “Last week, there was a rumor going around about Larry and a speech he made in Kiev. This week, I’m the latest pinup girl. You just have to develop a shell around yourself and not get hard on the inside, and stick together.” It’s not the first time he has submitted paperwork to end their union. In 2010, Larry  filed for divorce  after the National Enquirer reported that Shawn had an affair with one of their sons’ baseball coaches, Hector Penate. Penate later admitted to the affair, but the couple decided to stay together. The CNN host has previously been married seven times (to six other women) , while Shawn was married once before. Ahead of another round of quarterfinals on Tuesday, Howie Mandel gave his Golden Buzzer winning singer Joseph Allen some words of encouragement before hitting the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. “My advice is don’t think about it, just do it. Kristin Davis Talks Her Turtleneck Look on SATC: 'I Was Trying to Pretend I Was on Law & Order'

media thumbnail Over the years, Kristin Davis Sex and the City character Charlotte York has served as style inspiration for many women. She was known for her traditional, all-American wardrobe that featured vibrant colors, Kate Spade purses and ruffled and ruched dresses. York, an art dealer from Connecticut, managed to maintain her preppy style throughout the course of the show — with the exception of episode 3 in season 1. Fans of the character saw a different side of York when she opted for a sleeker look, sporting a bulky monochromed turtleneck and a long black coat. Her hair was even pulled back into a neat bun — much different from York’s signature bouncy curls. Davis, 54, explained the reason behind the outfit after fan account Every Outfit on Sex and the City (dedicated to all of the outfits worn on the series) pointed it out , asking for answers. “IS CHARLOTTE A CLOSET MINIMALIST? Because that is the only way that we can wrap our heads around a sleek, Jill Sander-esque look that is totally incongruous with the rest of the wardrobe,” the page wrote alongside a slideshow of photos of Charlotte in the ensemble. RELATED: Sex and the City‘s Chris Noth and Kristin Davis Reunite for a Night Out “Not that we’re complaining, it’s genuinely refreshing to see Charlotte’s art world side jump out. Art world people are obsessed with a monochromatic palette and a stark silhouette, presumably because they’ve been exposed to so much Richard Serra. Long live Minimalist Charlotte, you are truly the woman of our dreams.” In response, which was captured by Comments by Celebs , Davis wrote, “My thoughts are either I was trying to pretend I was on Law + Order.” “Or else Pat Field was sick that episode and just said ‘wear whatever you want!'” Davis sad in reference to the show’s legendary stylist. Davis isn’t the only cast member to speak out about their fashion choices. In June, the same fan account posted a photo from an episode featuring Sarah Jessica Parker ‘s star character Carrie Bradshaw, walking alongside her pals Miranda Hobbes ( Cynthia Nixon) and Samantha Jones ( Kim Cattrall)  wearing two different pairs of shoes . As she was captured strutting through the building wearing a pink and blue Christian Louboutin heel, the fan account couldn’t help but wonder what prompted Bradshaw to wear mismatched shoes. “THE MYSTERY OF THE MISMATCHED LOUBS Číst dále >>> Přeložit do en
