A muddy mishap by two Mossad agents on an overseas mission is set to cost Israel’s secret service. The unfortunate pair were operating in German mayor Klaus Langer’s northern municipality of Quarnbeck when their car got stuck in the mud – requiring a rescue operation with a price tag of 1,263 euros. Amid reports that firearms were found in the stricken vehicle, Langer demanded answers over why a foreign country is allowed to behave in this way, with machine guns that might frighten people.

  • Otto Skorzeny: The Nazi SS commander who later killed german scientists for the MOSSAD and accused Egypt

    5.4.2016, 18:20
    heroic SAA
media thumbnail Otto Skorzeny meets with Hitler in 1943 after leading the daring rescue of the German leader's friend and ally, Benito Mussolini. On September 11, 1962, a German scientist vanished. The basic facts were simple: Heinz Krug had been at his office, and he never came home. The only other salient detail known to police in Munich was that Krug commuted to Cairo frequently. He was one of dozens of Nazi rocket experts who had been hired by Egypt to develop advanced weapons for that country. HaBoker, a now defunct Israeli newspaper, surprisingly claimed to have the explanation: The Egyptians kidnapped Krug to prevent him from doing business with Israel. But that somewhat clumsy leak was an attempt by Israel to divert investigators from digging too deeply into the case - not that they ever would have found the 49-year-old scientist. We can now report - based on interviews with former Mossad officers and with Israelis who have access to the Mossad's archived secrets from half a century ago - that Krug was murdered as part of an Israeli espionage plot to intimidate the German scientists working for Egypt. Moreover, the most astounding revelation is the Mossad agent who fired the fatal gunshots: Otto Skorzeny, one of the Israeli spy agency's most valuable assets, was a former lieutenant colonel in Nazi Germany's Waffen-SS and one of Adolf Hitler's personal favorites among the party's commando leaders. The F"uhrer, in fact, awarded Skorzeny the army's most prestigious medal, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, for leading the rescue operation that plucked his friend Benito Mussolini out from the hands of his captors. But that was then. By 1962, according to our sources - who spoke only on the promise that they not be identified - Skorzeny had a different employer. The story of how that came to be is one of the most important untold tales in the archives of the Mossad, the agency whose full name, translated from Hebrew, is "The Institute for Intelligence and Special Missions." Key to understanding the story is that the Mossad had made stopping German scientists then working on Egypt's rocket program one of its top priorities. For several months before his death, in fact, Krug, along with other Germans who were working in Egypt's rocket-building industry, had received threatening messages. When in Germany, they got phone calls in the middle of the night, telling them to quit the Egyptian program. When in Egypt, some were sent letter bombs - and several people were injured by the explosions. Krug, as it happens, was near the top of the Mossad's target list. During the war that ended 17 years earlier, Krug was part of a team of superstars at Peenem"unde, the military test range on the coast of the Baltic Sea, where top German scientists toiled in the service of Hitler and the Third Reich. The team, led by Wernher von Braun, was proud to have engineered the rockets for the Blitz that nearly defeated England. Its wider ambitions included missiles that could fly a lot farther, with greater accuracy and more destructive power. According to Mossad research, a decade after the war ended, von Braun invited Krug and other former colleagues to join him in America. Von Braun, his war record practically expunged, was leading a missile development program for the United States. He even became one of the fathers of the NASA space exploration program. Krug opted for another, seemingly more lucrative option: joining other scientists from the Peenem"unde group - led by the German professor Wolfgang Pilz, whom he greatly admired - in Egypt. They would set up a secret strategic missile program for that Arab country. In the Israelis' view, Krug had to know that Israel, the country where so many Holocaust survivors had found refuge, was the intended target of his new masters' military capabilities. A committed Nazi would see this as an opportunity to continue the ghastly mission of exterminating the Jewish people. The threatening notes and phone calls, however, were driving Krug crazy. He and his colleagues knew that the threats were from Israelis. It was obvious. In 1960, Israeli agents had kidnapped Adolf Eichmann, one of the chief administrators of the Holocaust, in far-off Argentina. The Israelis astonishingly smuggled the Nazi to Jerusalem, where he was put on trial. Eichmann was hanged on May 31, 1962. It was reasonable for Krug to feel that a Mossad noose might be tightening around his neck, too. That was why he summoned help: a Nazi hero who was considered the best of the best in Hitler's heyday. One of the Mossad's top priorities was stopping German scientists from working on Egypt's rocket program. On the day he vanished, according to our new information from reliable sources, Krug left his office to meet Skorzeny, the man he felt would be his savior. Skorzeny, then 54 years old, was quite simply a legend. A dashing, innovative military man who grew up in Austria - famous for a long scar on the left side of his face, the result of his overly exuberant swordplay while fencing as a youth- he rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel in Nazi Germany's Waffen-SS. Thanks to Skorzeny's exploits as a guerrilla commander, Hitler recognized that he had a man who would go above and beyond, and stop at nothing, to complete a mission. The colonel's feats during the war inspired Germans and the grudging respect of Germany's enemies. American and British military intelligence labeled Skorzeny "the most dangerous man in Europe." Krug contacted Skorzeny in the hope that the great hero - then living in Spain - could create a strategy to keep the scientists safe. The two men were in Krug's white Mercedes, driving north out of Munich, and Skorzeny said that as a first step he had arranged for three bodyguards. He said they were in a car directly behind and would accompany them to a safe place in a forest for a chat. Krug was murdered, then and there, without so much as a formal indictment or death sentence. The man who pulled the trigger was none other than the famous Nazi war hero. Israel's espionage agency had managed to turn Otto Skorzeny into a secret agent for the Jewish state. After Krug was shot, the three Israelis poured acid on his body, waited awhile and then buried what was left in a hole they had dug beforehand. They covered the makeshift grave with lime, so that search dogs - and wild animals - would never pick up the scent of human remains. The troika that coordinated this extrajudicial execution was led by a future prime minister of Israel, Yitzhak Shamir, who was then head of the Mossad's special operations unit. One of the others was Zvi "Peter" Malkin, who had tackled Eichmann in Argentina and in later life would enter the art world as a New York-based painter. Supervising from a distance was Yosef "Joe" Raanan, who was the secret agency's senior officer in Germany. All three had lost large numbers of family members among the 6 million Jews murdered by the cruel, continent-wide genocide that Eichmann had managed. Israel's motivation in working with a man such as Skorzeny was clear: to get as close as possible to Nazis who were helping Egypt plot a new Holocaust. The Mossad's playbook for protecting Israel and the Jewish people has no preordained rules or limits. The agency's spies have evaded the legal systems in a host of countries for the purpose of liquidating Israel's enemies: Palestinian terrorists, Iranian scientists, and even a Canadian arms inventor named Gerald Bull, who worked for Saddam Hussein until bullets ended his career in Brussels in 1990. Mossad agents in Lillehammer, Norway, even killed a Moroccan waiter in the mistaken belief that he was the mastermind behind the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre of 11 Israeli athletes by the terrorist group known as Black September. Ahmed Bouchikhi was shot down in 1973 as he left a movie theatre with his pregnant wife. The Israeli government later paid compensation to her without officially admitting wrongdoing. The botched mission delayed further Mossad assassinations, but it did not end them. To get to unexpected places on these improbable missions, the Mossad has sometimes found itself working with unsavory partners. When short-term alliances could help, the Israelis were willing to dance with the proverbial devil, if that is what seemed necessary. But why did Skorzeny work with the Mossad? Comment: Those are also traits that many psychopaths seem to have. A psychopath would also have no trouble switching alliances, like from Nazis to Mossad, if he saw that it benefit him. He joined Austria's branch of the Nazi Party in 1931, when he was 23, served in its armed militia, the SA, and enthusiastically worshipped Hitler. The f"uhrer was elected chancellor of Germany in 1933 and then seized Austria in 1938. When Hitler invaded Poland in 1939 and World War II broke out, Skorzeny left his construction firm and volunteered - not for the regular army, the Wehrmacht, but for the Leibstandarte SS Panzer division that served as Hitler's personal bodyguard force. Skorzeny, in a memoir written after the war was over, told of his years of SS service as though they were almost bloodless travels in occupied Poland, Holland and France. His activities could not have been as innocuous as his book made them seem. He took part in battles in Russia and Poland, and certainly the Israelis believed it was very likely that he was involved in exterminating Jews. The Waffen-SS, after all, was not the regular army; it was the military arm of the Nazi Party and its genocidal plan. His most famous and daring mission was in September 1943: leading commandos who flew engineless gliders to reach an Italian mountaintop resort to rescue Hitler's friend and ally, the recently ousted Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini and spirit him away under harrowing conditions. This was the escapade that earned Skorzeny his promotion to lieutenant colonel - and operational control of Hitler's SS Special Forces. Hitler also rewarded him with several hours of face-to-face conversation, along with the coveted Knight's Cross. But it was far from his only coup. In September 1944, when Hungary's dictator, Admiral Miklos Horthy, a Nazi ally, was on the verge of suing for peace with Russia as Axis fortunes plunged, Skorzeny led a contingent of Special Forces into Budapest to kidnap Horthy and replace his government with the more hard-line Fascist Arrow Cross regime. That regime, in turn, went on to kill or to deport to concentration camps tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews who had managed to survive the war up to that point. Also in 1944, Skorzeny handpicked 150 soldiers, including some who spoke fair to excellent English in a bold plan to fend off the Allies after they landed in Normandy on D-Day in June. With the Allies advancing through France, Skorzeny dressed his men in captured U.S. uniforms, and procured captured American tanks for them to use in attacking and confusing Allied troops from behind their own lines. Skorzeny's Special Missions: The Autobiography of Hitler's Commando Ace," published by Greenhill Books. He spun some tall-tale hyperbole in the books, and definitely downplayed his contacts with the most bloodthirsty Nazi leaders. When telling of his many conversations with Hitler, he described the dictator as a caring and attentive military strategist. There was much that Skorzeny did not reveal, including how he escaped from the American military authorities who held him for a third year after his acquittal. Prosecutors were considering more charges against him in the Nuremberg tribunals, but during one transfer he was able to escape - reputedly with the help of former SS soldiers wearing American military police uniforms. Skorzeny's escape was also rumored to have been assisted by the CIA's predecessor agency, the Office of Special Services, for which he did some work after the war. It is certainly notable that he was allowed to settle in Spain - a paradise for Nazi war veterans, with protection from the pro-Western Fascist, Generalissimo Francisco Franco. In the years that followed he did some advisory work for President Juan Peron in Argentina and for Egypt's government. It was during this period that Skorzeny became friendly with the Egyptian officers who were running the missile program and employing German experts. In Israel, a Mossad planning team started to work on where it could be best to find and kill Skorzeny. But the head of the agency, Isser Harel, had a bolder plan: Instead of killing him, snare him. Mossad officials had known for some time that to target the German scientists, they needed an inside man in the target group. In effect, the Mossad needed a Nazi. The Israelis would never find a Nazi they could trust, but they saw a Nazi they could count on: someone thorough and determined, with a record of success in executing innovative plans, and skilled at keeping secrets. The seemingly bizarre decision to recruit Skorzeny came with some personal pain, because the task was entrusted to Raanan, who was also born in Vienna and had barely escaped the Holocaust. As an Austrian Jew, his name was originally Kurt Weisman. After the Nazis took over in 1938, he was sent - at age 16 - to British-ruled Palestine. His mother and younger brother stayed in Europe and perished. Like many Jews in Palestine, Kurt Weisman joined the British military looking for a chance to strike back at Germany. He served in the Royal Air Force. After the creation of Israel in 1948, he followed the trend of taking on a Hebrew name, and as Joe Raanan he was among the first pilots in the new nation's tiny air force. The young man rapidly became an airbase commander and later the air force's intelligence chief. Raanan's unique r'esum'e, including some work he did for the RAF in psychological warfare, attracted the attention of Harel, who signed him up for the Mossad in 1957. A few years later, Raanan was sent to Germany to direct the secret agency's operations there - with a special focus on the German scientists in Egypt. Thus it was Raanan who had to devise and command an operation to establish contact with Skorzeny, the famous Nazi commando. The Israeli spy found it difficult to get over his reluctance, but when ordered, he assembled a team that traveled to Spain for "pre-action intelligence." Its members observed Skorzeny, his home, his workplace and his daily routines. The team included a German woman in her late 20s who was not a trained, full-time Mossad agent but a "helper." Known by the Hebrew label " saayanit " (or " saayan " if a male), this team member was like an extra in a grandly theatrical movie, playing whatever role might be required. A saayanit would often pose as the girlfriend of an undercover Mossad combatant. Internal Mossad reports later gave her name as Anke and described her as pretty, vivacious and truly flirtatious. That would be perfect for the job at hand - a couples game. One evening in the early months of 1962, the affluent and ruggedly handsome - though scarred - Skorzeny was in a luxurious bar in Madrid with his significantly younger wife, Ilse von Finckenstein. Her own Nazi credentials were impeccable; she was the niece of Hjalmar Schacht, Hitler's talented finance minister. They had a few cocktails and were relaxing, when the bartender introduced them to a German-speaking couple he had been serving. The woman was pretty and in her late 20s, and her escort was a well-dressed man of around 40. They were German tourists, they said, but they also told a distressing story: that they had just survived a harrowing street robbery. They spoke perfect German, of course, the man with a bit of an Austrian accent, like Skorzeny's. They gave their false names, but in reality they were, respectively, a Mossad agent whose name must still be kept secret and his "helper," Anke. There were more drinks, then somewhat flamboyant flirting, and soon Skorzeny's wife invited the young couple, who had lost everything - money, passports and luggage - to stay the night at their sumptuous villa. There was just something irresistible about the newcomers. A sense of sexual intimacy between the two couples was in the air. After the four entered the house, however, at a crucial moment when the playful flirting reached the point where it seemed time to pair off, Skorzeny - the charming host - pulled a gun on the young couple and declared: "I know who you are, and I know why you're here. You are Mossad, and you've come to kill me." The young couple did not even flinch. The man said: "You are half-right. We are from Mossad, but if we had come to kill you, you would have been dead weeks ago." "Or maybe," Skorzeny said, "I would rather just kill you." Anke spoke up. "If you kill us, the ones who come next won't bother to have a drink with you, You won't even see their faces before they blow out your brains. Our offer to you is just for you to help us." After a long minute that felt like an hour, Skorzeny did not lower his gun, but he asked: "What kind of help? You need something done?" The Mossad officer - who even now is not being named by colleagues - told Skorzeny that Israel needed information and would pay him handsomely. Hitler's favorite commando paused for a few moments to think, and then surprised the Israeli by saying: "Money doesn't interest me. I have enough." The Mossad man was further surprised to hear Skorzeny name something that he did want: "I need for Wiesenthal to remove my name from his list." Simon Wiesenthal, the famous Vienna-based Nazi-hunter, had Skorzeny listed as a war criminal, but now the accused was insisting he had not committed any crimes. The Israeli did not believe any senior Nazi officer's claim of innocence, but recruiting an agent for an espionage mission calls for well-timed lies and deception. "Okay," he said, "that will be done. We'll take care of that." Skorzeny finally lowered his weapon, and the two men shook hands. The Mossad man concealed his disgust. "I knew that the whole story about you being robbed was bogus," Skorzeny said, with the boastful smile of a fellow intelligence professional. "Just a cover story." The next step to draw him in was to bring him to Israel. His Mossad handler, Raanan, secretly arranged a flight to Tel Aviv, where Skorzeny was introduced to Harel. The Nazi was questioned and also received more specific instructions and guidelines. During this visit, Skorzeny was taken to Yad Vashem, the museum in Jerusalem dedicated to the memory of the 6 million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The Nazi was silent and seemed respectful. There was a strange moment there when a war survivor pointed to Skorzeny and singled him out by name as "a war criminal." Raanan, as skilled an actor as any spy must be, smiled at the Jewish man and softly said: "No, you're mistaken. He's a relative of mine and himself is a Holocaust survivor." Naturally, many in Israeli intelligence wondered if the famous soldier for Germany had genuinely - and so easily - been recruited. Did he really care so much about his image that he demanded to be removed from a list of war criminals? Skorzeny indicated that being on the list meant he was a target for assassination. By cooperating with the Mossad, he was buying life insurance. The new agent seemed to prove his full reliability. As requested by the Israelis, he flew to Egypt and compiled a detailed list of German scientists and their addresses. Skorzeny also provided the names of many front companies in Europe that were procuring and shipping components for Egypt's military projects. These included Heinz Krug's company, Intra, in Munich. Raanan continued to be the project manager of the whole operation aimed against the German scientists. But he assigned the task of staying in contact with Skorzeny to two of his most effective operatives: Rafi Eitan and Avraham Ahituv. Eitan was one of the most amazing characters in Israeli intelligence. He earned the nickname "Mr. Kidnap" for his role in abducting Eichmann and other men wanted by Israeli security agencies. Eitan also helped Israel acquire materials for its secret nuclear program. He would go on to earn infamy in the 1980s by running Jonathan Pollard as an American Jewish spy in the United States government. Surprisingly flamboyant after a life in the shadows, in 2006, at age 79, Eitan became a Member of Parliament as head of a political party representing senior citizens. "Yes, I met and ran Skorzeny," Eitan confirmed to us recently. Like other Mossad veterans, he refused to go on the record with more details. Ahituv, who was born in Germany in 1930, was similarly involved in a wide array of Israeli clandestine operations all around the globe. From 1974 to 1980 he was head of the domestic security service, Shin Bet, which also guarded many secrets and often conducted joint projects with the Mossad. The Mossad agents did try to persuade Wiesenthal to remove Skorzeny from his list of war criminals, but the Nazi hunter refused. The Mossad, with typical chutzpah, instead forged a letter - supposedly to Skorzeny from Wiesenthal- declaring that his name had been cleared. Skorzeny continued to surprise the Israelis with his level of cooperation. During a trip to Egypt, he even mailed exploding packages; one Israeli-made bomb killed five Egyptians in the military rocket site Factory 333, where German scientists worked. The campaign of intimidation was largely successful, with most of the Germans leaving Egypt. Israel stopped the violence and threats, however, when one team was arrested in Switzerland while putting verbal pressure on a scientist's family. A Mossad man and an Austrian scientist who was working for Israel were put on trial. Luckily, the Swiss judge sympathized with Israel's fear of Egypt's rocket program. The two men were convicted of making threats, but they were immediately set free. Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, however, concluded that all of this being out in public was disastrous to Israel's image - and specifically could upset a deal he had arranged with West Germany to sell weapons to Israel. Harel submitted a letter of resignation, and to his shock, Ben-Gurion accepted it. The new Mossad director, commander of military intelligence Gen. Meir Amit, moved the agency away from chasing or intimidating Nazis. Amit did activate Skorzeny at least once more, however. The spymaster wanted to explore the possibility of secret peace negotiations, so he asked Israel's on-the-payroll Nazi to arrange a meeting with a senior Egyptian official. Nothing ever came of it. Skorzeny never explained his precise reasons for helping Israel. His autobiography does not contain the word "Israel," or even "Jew." It is true that he sought and got the life insurance. The Mossad did not assassinate him. He also had a very strong streak of adventurism, and the notion of doing secret work with fascinating spies - even if they were Jewish - must have been a magnet for the man whose innovative escapades had earned him the Iron Cross medal from Hitler. Skorzeny was the kind of man who would feel most youthful and alive through killing and fear. It is possible that regret and atonement also played a role. The Mossad's psychological analysts doubted it, but Skorzeny may have genuinely felt sorry for his actions during World War II. He may have been motivated by a combination of all these factors, and perhaps even others. But Otto Skorzeny took this secret to his grave. He died of cancer, at age 67, in Madrid in July 1975. He had two funerals, one in a chapel in Spain's capital and the other to bury his cremated remains in the Skorzeny family plot in Vienna. Both services were attended by dozens of German military veterans and wives, who did not hesitate to give the one-armed Nazi salute and sing some of Hitler's favorite songs. Fourteen of Skorzeny's medals, many featuring a boldly black swastika, were prominently paraded in the funeral processions. There was one man at the service in Madrid who was known to no one in the crowd, but out of habit he still made sure to hide his face as much as he could. That was Joe Raanan, who by then had become a successful businessman in Israel. The Mossad did not send Raanan to Skorzeny's funeral; he decided to attend on his own, and at his own expense. This was a personal tribute from one Austrian-born warrior to another, and from an old spy handler to the best, but most loathsome, agent he ever ran.

media thumbnail Four Israeli citizens are investigated in Romania for allegedly spying and trying to discredit the National Anticorruption Directorate - DNA's chief prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi. Two of the suspects, Dan Zorella and Avi Yanus, are former Israeli secret service officers. They are the co-founders and executive directors of the Israeli private investigation firm Black Cube. The Israeli secret service Mossad's former director Meir Dagan worked with this firm in the past and was the firm's honorary president until March this year when he died. According to the Romanian prosecutors, Dan Zorella and Avi Yanus together with several Black Cube employees, including Ron Weiner and David Geclowicz, have set up an organized crime group that harassed and carried cyber-attacks on Romania's chief anticorruption prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi. Weiner and Geclowicz have already been arrested in Romania. The investigation is still in a preliminary phase, and the Romanian prosecutors are trying to determine who hired Black Cube to start this operation against Kovesi, according to the chief prosecutor of the Directorate for Combatting Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).

False Flags Are Just a Conspiracy Theor ... Admitted Fact

media thumbnail Postscript: Unmarked Israeli fighter jets and unmarked torpedo boats attacked - and did everything they could to sink - a U.S. ship off the coast of Egypt in 1967 called the USS Liberty. The attack started by targeting communications on the ship so that the Americans couldn't radio for help. The Israelis then jammed the ship's emergency distress channel, and shot at escaping life rafts in an attempt to prevent survivors from escaping. Transcripts of conversations between the Israeli pilots and Israeli military show that Israel knew it was an American ship. Numerous top-level American military and intelligence officials - including Admiral Thomas H. Moorer, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff - believe that this was a failed false flag attack, and that Israel would have attempted to blame Egypt if the Israeli military had succeeded in sinking the ship. Indeed, President Lyndon Johnson dispatched nuclear-armed fighter jets to drop nuclear bombs on Cairo, Egypt. They were only recalled at the last minute, when Johnson realized that it was the Israelis - and not the Egyptians - who had fired on the Liberty. The following actions are arguably an admission that Israel intended to frame Egypt for the attack, and didn't want the Liberty's crew to be able to tell the world what really happened: (1) using unmarked jets and boats, (2) destroying the Liberty's communication equipment and jamming the Liberty's emergency distress channel, and (3) trying to sink the ship and destroy all liferafts. See this , this , this and this . Posted on February 2, 2016 by WashingtonsBlogPresidents, Prime Ministers, Congressmen, Generals, Spooks, Soldiers and Police ADMIT to False Flag TerrorIn the following instances, officials in the government which carried out the attack (or seriously proposed an attack) admit to it, either orally, in writing, or through photographs or videos: (1) Japanese troops set off a small explosion on a train track in 1931, and falsely blamed it on China in order to justify an invasion of Manchuria. This is known as the "Mukden Incident" or the "Manchurian Incident". The Tokyo International Military Tribunal found : "Several of the participators in the plan, including Hashimoto , have on various occasions admitted their part in the plot and have stated that the object of the 'Incident' was to afford an excuse for the occupation of Manchuria by the Kwantung Army ...." And see this . (2) A major with the Nazi SS admitted at the Nuremberg trials that - under orders from the chief of the Gestapo - he and some other Nazi operatives faked attacks on their own people and resources which they blamed on the Poles, to justify the invasion of Poland. (3) Nazi general Franz Halder also testified at the Nuremberg trials that Nazi leader Hermann Goering admitted to setting fire to the German parliament building in 1933, and then falsely blaming the communists for the arson. (4) Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev admitted in writing that the Soviet Union's Red Army shelled the Russian village of Mainila in 1939 - while blaming the attack on Finland - as a basis for launching the "Winter War" against Finland. Russian president Boris Yeltsin agreed that Russia had been the aggressor in the Winter War. (5) The Russian Parliament, current Russian president Putin and former Soviet leader Gorbachev all admit that Soviet leader Joseph Stalin ordered his secret police to execute 22,000 Polish army officers and civilians in 1940, and then falsely blamed it on the Nazis. (6) The British government admits that - between 1946 and 1948 - it bombed 5 ships carrying Jews attempting to flee the Holocaust to seek safety in Palestine, set up a fake group called "Defenders of Arab Palestine", and then had the psuedo-group falsely claim responsibility for the bombings (and see this , this and this ). (7) Israel admits that in 1954, an Israeli terrorist cell operating in Egypt planted bombs in several buildings, including U.S. diplomatic facilities, then left behind "evidence" implicating the Arabs as the culprits (one of the bombs detonated prematurely, allowing the Egyptians to identify the bombers, and several of the Israelis later confessed) (and see this and this ). (8) The CIA admits that it hired Iranians in the 1950's to pose as Communists and stage bombings in Iran in order to turn the country against its democratically-elected prime minister. (9) The Turkish Prime Minister admitted that the Turkish government carried out the 1955 bombing on a Turkish consulate in Greece - also damaging the nearby birthplace of the founder of modern Turkey - and blamed it on Greece, for the purpose of inciting and justifying anti-Greek violence. (10) The British Prime Minister admitted to his defense secretary that he and American president Dwight Eisenhower approved a plan in 1957 to carry out attacks in Syria and blame it on the Syrian government as a way to effect regime change. (11) The former Italian Prime Minister, an Italian judge, and the former head of Italian counterintelligence admit that NATO, with the help of the Pentagon and CIA, carried out terror bombings in Italy and other European countries in the 1950s and blamed the communists, in order to rally people's support for their governments in Europe in their fight against communism . As one participant in this formerly-secret program stated: "You had to attack civilians, people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple. They were supposed to force these people, the Italian public, to turn to the state to ask for greater security" (and see this ) (Italy and other European countries subject to the terror campaign had joined NATO before the bombings occurred). And watch this BBC special . They also allegedly carried out terror attacks in France, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the UK , and other countries. False flag attacks carried out pursuant to this program include - by way of example only: The murder of the Turkish Prime Minister (1960) Bombings in Portugal (1966) The Piazza Fontana massacre in Italy (1969) Terror attacks in Turkey (1971) The Peteano bombing in Italy (1972) Shootings in Brescia, Italy and a bombing on an Italian train (1974) Shootings in Istanbul, Turkey (1977) The Atocha massacre in Madrid, Spain (1977) The abduction and murder of the Italian Prime Minister (1978) The bombing of the Bologna railway station in Italy (1980) Shooting and killing 28 shoppers in Brabant county, Belgium (1985) (12) In 1960, American Senator George Smathers suggested that the U.S. launch "a false attack made on Guantanamo Bay which would give us the excuse of actually fomenting a fight which would then give us the excuse to go in and ". (13) Official State Department documents show that, in 1961, the head of the Joint Chiefs and other high-level officials discussed blowing up a consulate in the Dominican Republic in order to justify an invasion of that country. The plans were not carried out, but they were all discussed as serious proposals. (14) As admitted by the U.S. government, recently declassified documents show that in 1962, the American Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on a plan to blow up AMERICAN airplanes (using an elaborate plan involving the switching of airplanes), and also to commit terrorist acts on American soil, and then to blame it on the Cubans in order to justify an invasion of Cuba. See the following ABC news report ; the official documents ; and watch this interview with the former Washington Investigative Producer for ABC's World News Tonight with Peter Jennings. (15) In 1963, the U.S. Department of Defense wrote a paper promoting attacks on nations within the Organization of American States - such as Trinidad-Tobago or Jamaica - and then falsely blaming them on Cuba. (16) The U.S. Department of Defense even suggested covertly paying a person in the Castro government to attack the United States: "The only area remaining for consideration then would be to bribe one of Castro's subordinate commanders to initiate an attack on Guantanamo." (17) The NSA admits that it lied about what really happened in the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964 ... manipulating data to make it look like North Vietnamese boats fired on a U.S. ship so as to create a false justification for the Vietnam war. (18) A U.S. Congressional committee admitted that - as part of its "Cointelpro" campaign - the FBI had used many provocateurs in the 1950s through 1970s to carry out violent acts and falsely blame them on political activists. (19) A top Turkish general admitted that Turkish forces burned down a mosque on Cyprus in the 1970s and blamed it on their enemy. He explained : "In Special War, certain acts of sabotage are staged and blamed on the enemy to increase public resistance. We did this on Cyprus; we even burnt down a mosque." In response to the surprised correspondent's incredulous look the general said, "I am giving an example". (20) A declassified 1973 CIA document reveals a program to train foreign police and troops on how to make booby traps, pretending that they were training them on how to investigate terrorist acts: The Agency maintains liaison in varying degrees with foreign police/security organizations through its field stations .... a. Providing trainees with basic knowledge in the uses of commercial and military demolitions and incendiaries as they may be applied in terrorism and industrial sabotage operations. b. Introducing the trainees to commercially available materials and home laboratory techniques, likely to he used in the manufacture of explosives and incendiaries by terrorists or saboteurs. c. Familiarizing the trainees with the concept of target analysis and operational planning that a saboteur or terrorist must employ. d. Introducing the trainees to booby trapping devices and techniques giving practical experience with both manufactured and improvised devices through actual fabrication. *** The program provides the trainees with ample opportunity to develop basic familiarity and use proficiently through handling, preparing and applying the various explosive charges, incendiary agents, terrorist devices and sabotage techniques. (21) The German government admitted (and see this ) that, in 1978, the German secret service detonated a bomb in the outer wall of a prison and planted "escape tools" on a prisoner - a member of the Red Army Faction - which the secret service wished to frame the bombing on. (22) A Mossad agent admits that, in 1984, Mossad planted a radio transmitter in Gaddaffi's compound in Tripoli, Libya which broadcast fake terrorist trasmissions recorded by Mossad, in order to frame Gaddaffi as a terrorist supporter. Ronald Reagan bombed Libya immediately thereafter. (23) The South African Truth and Reconciliation Council found that, in 1989, the Civil Cooperation Bureau (a covert branch of the South African Defense Force) approached an explosives expert and asked him "to participate in an operation aimed at discrediting the ANC by bombing the police vehicle of the investigating officer into the murder incident", thus framing the ANC for the bombing. (24) An Algerian diplomat and several officers in the Algerian army admit that, in the 1990s, the Algerian army frequently massacred Algerian civilians and then blamed Islamic militants for the killings (and see this video ; and Agence France-Presse, 9/27/2002, French Court Dismisses Algerian Defamation Suit Against Author). (25) In 1993, a bomb in Northern Ireland killed 9 civilians. Official documents from the Royal Ulster Constabulary (i.e. the British government) show that the mastermind of the bombing was a British agent, and that the bombing was designed to inflame sectarian tensions. And see this . (26) The United States Army's 1994 publication Special Forces Foreign Internal Defense Tactics Techniques and Procedures for Special Forces - updated in 2004 - recommends employing terrorists and using false flag operations to destabilize leftist regimes in Latin America. False flag terrorist attacks were carried out in Latin America and other regions as part of the CIA's " Dirty Wars ". And see this . (27) Similarly, a CIA "psychological operations" manual prepared by a CIA contractor for the Nicaraguan Contra rebels noted the value of assassinating someone on your own side to create a "martyr" for the cause. The manual was authenticated by the U.S. government. The manual received so much publicity from Associated Press, Washington Post and other news coverage that - during the 1984 presidential debate - President Reagan was confronted with the following question on national television: At this moment, we are confronted with the extraordinary story of a CIA guerrilla manual for the anti-Sandinista contras whom we are backing, which advocates not only assassinations of Sandinistas but the hiring of criminals to assassinate the guerrillas we are supporting in order to create martyrs. (28) An Indonesian fact-finding team investigated violent riots which occurred in 1998, and determined that " elements of the military had been involved in the riots, some of which were deliberately provoked ". (29) Senior Russian Senior military and intelligence officers admit that the KGB blew up Russian apartment buildings in 1999 and falsely blamed it on Chechens, in order to justify an invasion of Chechnya (and see this report and this discussion ). (30) As reported by BBC , the New York Times , and Associated Press , Macedonian officials admit that the government murdered 7 innocent immigrants in cold blood and pretended that they were Al Qaeda soldiers attempting to assassinate Macedonian police, in order to join the "war on terror". (31) At the July 2001 G8 Summit in Genoa, Italy, black-clad thugs were videotaped getting out of police cars, and were seen by an Italian MP carrying "iron bars inside the police station". Subsequently, senior police officials in Genoa subsequently admitted that police planted two Molotov cocktails and faked the stabbing of a police officer at the G8 Summit, in order to justify a violent crackdown against protesters. (32) The U.S. falsely blamed Iraq for playing a role in the 9/11 attacks - as shown by a memo from the defense secretary - as one of the main justifications for launching the Iraq war. Even after the 9/11 Commission admitted that there was no connection, Dick Cheney said that the evidence is "overwhelming" that al Qaeda had a relationship with Saddam Hussein's regime, that Cheney "probably" had information unavailable to the Commission, and that the media was not 'doing their homework' in reporting such ties. Top U.S. government officials now admit that the Iraq war was really launched for oil ... not 9/11 or weapons of mass destruction. Despite previous "lone wolf" claims, many U.S. government officials now say that 9/11 was state-sponsored terror; but Iraq was not the state which backed the hijackers. (Many U.S. officials have alleged that 9/11 was a false flag operation by rogue elements of the U.S. government; but such a claim is beyond the scope of this discussion. The key point is that the U.S. falsely blamed it on Iraq, when it knew Iraq had nothing to do with it.). (33) Although the FBI now admits that the 2001 anthrax attacks were carried out by one or more U.S. government scientists, a senior FBI official says that the FBI was actually told to blame the Anthrax attacks on Al Qaeda by White House officials (remember what the anthrax letters looked like ). Government officials also confirm that the white House tried to link the anthrax to Iraq as a justification for regime change in that country. (34) According to the Washington Post , Indonesian police admit that the Indonesian military killed American teachers in Papua in 2002 and blamed the murders on a Papuan separatist group in order to get that group listed as a terrorist organization. (35) The well-respected former Indonesian president also admits that the government probably had a role in the Bali bombings. (36) Police outside of a 2003 European Union summit in Greece were filmed planting Molotov cocktails on a peaceful protester . (37) Former Department of Justice lawyer John Yoo suggested in 2005 that the US should go on the offensive against al-Qaeda, having "our intelligence agencies create a false terrorist organization. It could have its own websites, recruitment centers, training camps, and fundraising operations. It couldlaunch fake terrorist operations and claim credit for real terrorist strikes, helping to sow confusion within al-Qaeda's ranks, causing operatives to doubt others' identities and to question the validity of communications." (38) Similarly, in 2005, Professor John Arquilla of the Naval Postgraduate School - a renowned US defense analyst credited with developing the concept of 'netwar' - called for western intelligence services to create new "pseudo gang" terrorist groups, as a way of undermining "real" terror networks. According to Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh, Arquilla's 'pseudo-gang' strategy was, Hersh reported, already being implemented by the Pentagon: "Under Rumsfeld's new approach, I was told, US military operatives would be permitted to pose abroad as corrupt foreign businessmen seeking to buy contraband items that could be used in nuclear-weapons systems. In some cases, according to the Pentagon advisers, local citizens could be recruited and asked to join up with guerrillas or terrorists... The new rules will enable the Special Forces community to set up what it calls 'action teams' in the target countries overseas which can be used to find and eliminate terrorist organizations. 'Do you remember the right-wing execution squads in El Salvador?' the former high-level intelligence official asked me, referring to the military-led gangs that committed atrocities in the early nineteen-eighties. 'We founded them and we financed them,' he said. 'The objective now is to recruit locals in any area we want. And we aren't going to tell Congress about it.' A former military officer, who has knowledge of the Pentagon's commando capabilities, said, 'We're going to be riding with the bad boys.'" (39) United Press International reported in June 2005: U.S. intelligence officers are reporting that some of the insurgents in Iraq are using recent-model Beretta 92 pistols, but the pistols seem to have had their serial numbers erased. The numbers do not appear to have been physically removed; the pistols seem to have come off a production line without any serial numbers. Analysts suggest the lack of serial numbers indicates that the weapons were intended for intelligence operations or terrorist cells with substantial government backing. Analysts speculate that these guns are probably from either Mossad or the CIA. Analysts speculate that agent provocateurs may be using the untraceable weapons even as U.S. authorities use insurgent attacks against civilians as evidence of the illegitimacy of the resistance. (40) Undercover Israeli soldiers admitted in 2005 to throwing stones at other Israeli soldiers so they could blame it on Palestinians, as an excuse to crack down on peaceful protests by the Palestinians. (41) Quebec police admitted that, in 2007, thugs carrying rocks to a peaceful protest were actually undercover Quebec police officers (and see this ). (42) A 2008 US Army special operations field manual recommends that the U.S. military use surrogate non-state groups such as "paramilitary forces, individuals, businesses, foreign political organizations, resistant or insurgent organizations, expatriates, transnational terrorism adversaries, disillusioned transnational terrorism members, black marketers, and other social or political 'undesirables.'" The manual specifically acknowledged that U.S. special operations can involve both counterterrorism and "Terrorism" (as well as "transnational criminal activities, including narco-trafficking, illicit arms-dealing, and illegal financial transactions.") (43) The former head of Secret Services and Head of State of Italy (Francesco Cossiga) advised the 2008 minister in charge of the police, on how to deal with protests from teachers and students: He should do what I did when I was Minister of the Interior ... infiltrate the movement with agents provocateurs inclined to do anything .... And after that, with the strength of the gained population consent, ... beat them for blood and beat for blood also those teachers that incite them. Especially the teachers. Not the elderly, of course, but the girl teachers yes. (44) At the G20 protests in London in 2009, a British member of parliament saw plain clothes police officers attempting to incite the crowd to violence. (45) Egyptian politicians admitted (and see this) that government employees looted priceless museum artifacts in 2011 to try to discredit the protesters. (46) Rioters who discredited the peaceful protests against the swearing in of the Mexican president in 2012 admitted that they were paid 300 pesos each to destroy everything in their path. According to Wikipedia, photos also show the vandals waiting in groups behind police lines prior to the violence. (47) A Colombian army colonel has admitted that his unit murdered 57 civilians, then dressed them in uniforms and claimed they were rebels killed in combat. (48) On November 20, 2014, Mexican agent provocateurs were transported by army vehicles to participate in the 2014 Iguala mass kidnapping protests, as was shown by videos and pictures distributed via social networks. (49) The highly-respected writer for the Telegraph Ambrose Evans-Pritchard says that the head of Saudi intelligence - Prince Bandar - recently admitted that the Saudi government controls "Chechen" terrorists. (50) High-level American sources admitted that the Turkish government - a fellow NATO country - carried out the chemical weapons attacks blamed on the Syrian government; and high-ranking Turkish government admitted on tape plans to carry out attacks and blame it on the Syrian government. (51) The Ukrainian security chief admits that the sniper attacks which started the Ukrainian coup were carried out in order to frame others. Ukrainian officials admit that the Ukrainian snipers fired on both sides, to create maximum chaos. (52) Burmese government officials admitted that Burma (renamed Myanmar) used false flag attacks against Muslim and Buddhist groups within the country to stir up hatred between the two groups, to prevent democracy from spreading. (53) Britain's spy agency has admitted (and see this) that it carries out "digital false flag" attacks on targets, framing people by writing offensive or unlawful material ... and blaming it on the target. (54) U.S. soldiers have admitted that if they kill innocent Iraqis and Afghanis, they then "drop" automatic weapons near their body so they can pretend they were militants (55) Similarly, police frame innocent people for crimes they didn't commit. The practice is so well-known that the New York Times noted in 1981: In police jargon, a throwdown is a weapon planted on a victim. Newsweek reported in 1999: Perez, himself a former cop, was caught stealing eight pounds of cocaine from police evidence lockers. After pleading guilty in September, he bargained for a lighter sentence by telling an appalling story of attempted murder and a"throwdown"-police slang for a weapon planted by cops to make a shooting legally justifiable. Perez said he and his partner, Officer Nino Durden, shot an unarmed 18th Street Gang member named Javier Ovando, then planted a semiautomatic rifle on the unconscious suspect and claimed that Ovando had tried to shoot them during a stakeout. Wikipedia notes : As part of his plea bargain, P'erez implicated scores of officers from the Rampart Division's anti-gang unit, describing routinely beating gang members, planting evidence on suspects, falsifying reports and covering up unprovoked shootings. (As a side note - and while not technically false flag attacks - police have been busted framing innocent people in many other ways, as well.) (56) A former U.S. intelligence officer recently alleged: Most terrorists are false flag terrorists or are created by our own security services. (57) The head and special agent in charge of the FBI's Los Angeles office said that most terror attacks are committed by the CIA and FBI as false flags. Similarly, the director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan - Lt. General William Odom said : By any measure the US has long used terrorism. In '78-79 the Senate was trying to pass a law against international terrorism - in every version they produced, the lawyers said the US would be in violation. (audio here ). (58) Leaders throughout history have acknowledged the "benefits" of of false flags to justify their political agenda: "Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death". - Adolph Hitler "Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Hermann Goering, Nazi leader. "The easiest way to gain control of a population is to carry out acts of terror. will clamor for such laws if their personal security is threatened". - Josef Stalin

"Our woman in Beirut"- Israeli Mossad agent

    6.9.2015, 9:02
media thumbnail It's hard to imagine, but this attractive young woman was one of the boldest Mossad agents to ever serve the agency, taking part in several major operations, and earning the Chief of Staff's commendation. She was young, beautiful, and one of the Mossad's most daring operatives. No one knows what she looks like today as current photographs of her are classified, but in a new book, Yael sheds light on the shadowy, legendary work of the Mossad. On April 9, 1973, at 7pm, Yael met an Israeli man named Eviatar for dinner. They sat in a genteel restaurant in Beirut's Phoenicia Hotel. She wore a chic, elegant sports jacket, with a green scarf draped on her neck. They drank wine, enjoyed the food, and talked. An eavesdropper would have had no idea that these were two operatives in the Mossad's Caesarea unit, the secret agency's operative arm - or that Yael was meeting her boyfriend for a secret mission. He asked her about her neighborhood, about the view in her apartment. "And what about the neighbors who live across from you?" He wondered. The names remained unuttered, but they knew what he meant. Two months earlier, Yael had rented an apartment across the street from the apartments of several interesting figures: Kamal Adwan, a high-ranking member of the Black September terror organization; Mohammed Yousef al-Najjar, the head of the PLO's branch in Lebanon; and Kamal Nasser, the PLO's spokesman. Yael monitored the men from her windows. "They're home today, all three," Yael told Eviatar. Silence fell, but only momentarily. "He told me to go straight to my apartment and stay in the back, far from the windows," Yael remembers years later. "'We'll meet in the next few days,' he told me.'I'll let you know where and when'. I naively thought he worried too much about me." Yael didn't know that just then, while she was eating her dinner, IDF troops were already out in the sea, waiting for approval to come ashore in Beirut. And she didn't know that her statement about the three men being home would be the opening shot of Operation "Spring of Youth," considered one of the most audacious operations in the history of Israel's security services, in which elite IDF units and the Mossad killed the three senior Palestinian terrorists, who were among those responsible for the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics. I met Yael this week at her apartment in central Israel. At 79, and despite poor health, she is still an impressive woman. A new book, "Yael -the Mossad's Warrior in Beirut", was written by Efrat Mas after speaking to Yael and her colleagues over the course of two years. Of course, Yael is her undercover name given by the Mossad; her identity is still under wraps. What happened to you that night, after you separated from your partner in the operation, Eviatar? "I wandered around Beirut's downtown for a bit. I was in a good mood. I was so happy to meet someone from the office and feel at home for a moment. He said he would meet me again in a couple of days and that misled me, so I was completely calm. I arrived at the apartment at around 9pm. I checked, like I always did, if anyone had entered while I was gone, and then I went to the window to see if 'the three objectives' were still in their apartments. "Mohammed Najarr and Kamal Adwan lived in two apartments on the sixth floor right across from me. Kamal Nasser lived n the building adjacent to theirs, on the third floor. The lights were on in the three apartments. I heard the sound of cars coming and going. I was satisfied that the information I had passed on at 7pm was still up-to-date, and went to sleep." A few hours later, she heard gunshots. "I crawled on the floor and peeped outside to see what was happening," she recalls. "Three large vehicles were parked on the street. The shots got louder, there were screams, and the lights in the three apartments turned on. Everything happened quickly and suddenly I heard 'come here, come here', in Hebrew. When I heard Hebrew in the heart of Beirut, I knew that was it, there was an operation underway, and I connected what was happening with the information I had given to Eviatar a few hours earlier. After all, I wasn't quite that na"ive. I remember saying to myself, "I am just doing my job'. I did what they told me to do, that's all." And were you scared? "I was afraid they might shoot me by mistake, as only a narrow road separated my window from their apartments. The Israeli fighters didn't know I was there, they know there was real-time intelligence but they didn't know exactly who, where, and how. Many years after that, when we lived in Caesarea, Major General )Ret.) Amiram Levin was our neighbor. One day we got to talking. He took part in the operation; he was a Major, and acted as deputy to the mission commander Ehud Barak. He told me that they knew their had to be a Mossad agent present in order to convey the real time intelligence, and that he always asked himself where this person was, The seeing but unseen, and how he could prevent accidentally hitting them. I was that person. I stood by the window and everything happened very quickly, and then there was a sudden silence for a few minutes, until the police and army forces began arriving on the scene." So then what did you do? "I sat by my writing desk, which was situated right under my window, and I wrote to my contact at headquarters about the night's events, under the pretext of a love letter. Among other things I wrote: 'Emil my dear, I am still shaking from last night's events, I woke up suddenly in the middle of the night from the sound of explosions. I ran to the window and saw a battle taking place in the street. It was awful, I ran back to the other window, where I thought I would be protected from an errant bullet, after a few hours the quiet returned, and to my surprise I fell asleep. When I woke up I thought it was all just a bad dream. But no, it was reality; those awful Israelis were really here. I think I might take a vacation and visit you during the Easter holiday. Lovingly yours, Reeba, your nun in Lebanon.' In the writing I hid the sentence: 'It was a great show last night. Well done!" In the book you say that it was precisely on the night of the operation that you in fact thought about your parents back in the US. "Yes, it was when I returned from a meeting with Eviatar. It was free time for me. I was relaxed, I had a great evening, and I didn't feel responsible for anything at that moment. I snuggled up on the couch in my room, and suddenly I began thinking about my parents, on my path from the US to Beirut. I thought to myself that if my parents would have known where I was now, they would have been shocked, and wouldn't have understood what happened to their soft and innocent daughter." Drafting The meeting with Mike Harari Nothing in Yael's previous life could have hinted at her participation in one of the boldest operations ever conducted by the Israeli security apparatus. She was born in Canada and grew up in New Jersey, in a warm and supporting household. Her father held a doctorate in physics, and her mother was a housewife. The family only had coincidental ties to Judaism. "In our neighborhood there were only three Jewish families," she says, "so we didn't really know a lot about Judaism. We weren't a Zionist or Jewish household. We had a Christmas tree at home. My dad didn't pay much importance to religion. Science and scientific thinking were his whole world. I remember running into anti-Semitism just once as a child. It happened when a kid was walking behind me, and said 'move dirty Jew.' I turned around and told him, 'I'm a Jew but I'm not dirty.' But besides that moment, I didn't have a Jewish or Zionist experience. Despite that you made aliyah. "The main reason was that I was in a bad marriage, and I wanted to get far away from my husband. We fought a lot, and I though I would go for a year. Later on more reasons piled up which pushed me towards Israel, mainly the fear that abounded before the breakout of the six day war that Israel's existence was in jeopardy. I always identified with the underdog, and unlike the might of the US, Israel looked like someone who needed a hug." How was your first meeting with Israel? "I had family here who I met while they where emissaries in the US, and they helped me with the first steps. I went to ulpan, but because I didn't really plan on staying for that long I didn't learn Hebrew. In fact, I was never really settled in Israel. I worked as a computer systems analyst, I was lonely, and then, in the beginning of 1971, three years after arriving in Israel, I had a relationship with an Israeli man, and he told me he worked as a body guard in the Mossad. It will surely sound weird, but I heard the word Mossad and something happened to me. Something almost mystical. I felt like it was my destiny, that this is what I was meant to do with my life. I asked my friend to put me in touch with the Mossad, and tell them that I wanted to join. He did so, and for a few weeks no one called." "A few months later I received a call. The man on the other side of the line did not identify himself. He only said to me: 'Do you want to do something for the country?' I answered yes. We scheduled a meeting at a caf'e. There were two men there, and they asked me all kinds of questions, but what I remember most was that at the end of the meeting I asked if either one of them needed a ride home. One of them did, and we started walking towards my car, and I forgot where I parked. It took us a while until we found it. When I got home I thought 'that's it' they will never recruit me to the Mossad, they will never take someone who can't find their car. But after two days I got another call and I was invited to a meeting, that's when I met Mike Harari"(commander of the Mossad's "Caesarea" unit). What happened in that meeting with Mike? "We met on a Saturday afternoon in an empty office building in Tel Aviv. Mike had a deep voice, and spoke slowly, with a glance that changed from soft to stern. I was in suspense. I told him my life story; he asked a lot of questions about my decision to come specifically to Israel, and my feelings about being here. At a certain point I told him I decided to join the Mossad because 'I want to be worth something, I want to do something worthwhile.' In hindsight I know they were on the fence about me. Years later Mike told me that during that meeting he felt that I was very na"ive, not knowing whether this would be to my benefit in lowering people's guards', or a weakness. He debated whether I was strong enough to confront the stress of covert work. He saw that I needed a supportive surrounding, and asked himself whether I could act alone in hostile environments, and whether my 'femininity, softness and beauty,' as he put it, where a strength or weakness. One month later I was invited to meet with the head of the Mossad, Zvi Zamir, and even he, I know in hindsight, had similar questions about the naivety I was broadcasting. At the end of the process they decided to accept me, and I started my training." And in hindsight, your Naivety and femininity helped you in your work? "I think it helped. With the years I learned to use my naive look. I used it as a sort of manipulation. I was truly naive at first. You can see it in my response to operation Spring of Youth, where I didn't really pick up on all the signs that the operation was set to begin. But slowly, with the years and the operations I took part in, I became less na"ive, and I understood that things aren't always what they seem, but I kept using my na"ive persona, which often resulted in me looking helpless. It helped me in the target countries I visited during my service. Every where I went people asked how they could help me, like I was a little girl, especially the men in the Arab world. Something in my frail appearance didn't raise suspicions. Arab men trusted me. I used it knowingly." Lebanon "I looked for a cover story" A short while after finishing her training in Israel, Yael received her first assignment. She was tasked with blending in with the locals in Brussels, the capitol of Belgium. She had an apartment, a job, and a well rounded social life. Three months after arriving in Brussels, she embarked on her first mission, in which she had to collect intelligence in Beirut. During the next two years she entered and departed Lebanon a number of times. At that point her handlers began preparing her for a longer stay in Lebanon. Did they explain why? "They told me it was part of a bigger effort against terror cells. It was after the Munich Olympics massacre, during a period fraught with terror. There still wasn't a plan of aciton, but I also didn't ask questions about something that didn't have to do with my job. I focused on what I had to do, and I looked for a cover story which would allow me to stay in Beirut for a longer period of time, where I could be free to enter and leave." What was your cover story? "We found that the role of an American novelist writing a screenplay for a movie set to be filmed in Lebanon answered all the criteria. I didn't know how to 'be a novelist.' So I flew to Israel to undergo a shortened writing 'course', and 'how to look like a novelist.' "The course took place at the home of the novelist and biographer Shabtai Teveth, who was Mike Harari's good friend. Teveth knew why I came to him, he seemed very professional and full of charm. He told me that 'you cannot teach someone to be a novelist, but you can learn to look the part.' He showed me his working rooms, his writing table full of papers, and how to organize a working table to look like a novelist. How to scatter drafts, pens, and books. He explained the different stages of writing, from the idea stage to the full text. I was there for a few days, and I really liked the intellectual atmosphere in his house. After Teveth's instruction, I returned to Brussels, and looked for a topic for my screenplay. I wanted to focus on a woman who had ties to Lebanon and Beirut. I went to the library and looked for a woman that fit the profile. On one of the days I visited the Victoria and Albert museum in London. It was in the archives their that I learned of the Lady Hester Stanhope. I read about her and learned that she was perfect for me." Lady Hester Stanhope what can you tell me about her? "She was born in 1776 to a noble family in England. She inherited a large sum of money and began travelling throughout Syria and Lebanon, something no other woman had done before, earning her the nickname 'Queen of the East.' She settled down in a crumbling monastery near Sidon, and turned it into a luxurious castle. Her persona charmed me, and without much if any skill I began writing the screenplay." Yael arrived in Beirut with the screenplay in hand. At first she lived in a hotel while looking for an apartment which would allow her to observe the three targets - Kamal Adwan, Mohamed Yousef al-Najjar, and Kamal Nasser. "I found an apartment which belonged to a man named Fuad Abud. He lived with his sisters in a building he owned, where he also rented out a few of the apartments. On the fourth floor there was an apartment which looked directly towards the two buildings in which the targets lived. I rented the apartment, and of course told the landlord about my screenplay." "The first thing I did was to put a large working table under the window, making sure to spread the books drafts and pens the way Teveth taught me to. It was a great observation post. I didn't even need binoculars to see into the three target apartments. I was asked to report to headquarters when: the men were home, and when they were not, who was entering the apartment, their families, the guards, and generally the happenings near the building." Did you feel afraid, lonely? "I lived alone in New York before, which isn't easy, so living in Beirut wasn't scary for me. Generally speaking, I felt protected as a member of 'Caesarea.' Even when I was alone they made me feel like I wasn't lonely. I felt like we were all working towards the same purpose. Additionally, my neighbors in Lebanon, and my landlord were very warm and generous to me." The Operation "It scares me that I wasn't afraid" The information that Yael and the others in Lebanon passed on was collected by "Caesarea's" intelligence officer, and led the unit's commanders to decide that a mission against the three targets was possible. Zamir, Harari, and the "Ceasera" intelligence officer came to the Chief of Staff David (Dado) Elazar with the information they had collected. According to Harari's recollection in the book, the decision was made to green light the operation in Dado's office. They also decided that commandos from the: Sayeret Matkal, paratroopers Special Forces, and the Navy's Shayetet 13 would be the ones to carry out the operation. "Caesarea" agents working with Mossad intelligence would be responsible for collecting the intelligence needed beforehand. The plan called for "Caesarea" agents to act as drivers, and lead the attacking forces through the streets of Beirut to and from their targets. According to the book, Dado held a conversation in his office with high ranking Mossad officials saying: "I'm ready to go for it under the condition that there will be real time intelligence, in order to avert a situation where the complicated operation is initiated, and the soldiers arrive at an empty apartment." Harari, in response, promised to organize the live intelligence source. That was Yael's job. "Without Yael, who took upon herself the central position of real time intelligence collection, the operation would not have happened," Harari wrote in his preface to the book. A short while after the meeting with the Chief of Staff, Hariri met with Yael in Brussels and passed on her instructions. She remembers that meeting very well. "Mike told me to collect real time intelligence on the targets during the day and night. The word 'operation' was never used during the discussion. We talked about means of communication, and the reactions to the possible scenarios. He told me: 'Yael, at the very end you will be there alone with the knowledge and the experience that you gained, and with who you are, put it all together and do it your way. I trust you.' I told him: 'Mike, I will report on what I see and find in real time.' That was our language, we didn't need many words." "At the time I didn't think that Mike was giving me instructions before an operation," Yael emphasized. "I returned to Beirut thinking I was observing these three individuals, who were the planners of several terrorist attacks, including the Munich massacre. I knew that there was an intention to launch an operation against them - not as revenge, but as a way of showing them that we can reach them anywhere in the world, but I never heard the words 'mission' or 'operation'. I also didn't ask about things that were not in my job's purview or about other people in general. I focused on what I had to do." Three weeks after the conversation with Harari, Yael met with Eviatar in Beirut. "I knew Eviatar from a previous mission we conducted together a few months earlier, where I took photos of sensitive compounds in Beirut, but we acted like total strangers." The two ran into each other completely by chance at the luxurious Intercontinental hotel Bar. "Didn't I meet you in Paris at the Louvre?" She asked him. In a conversation between the two she updated him with current information on the targets. Two days later, on the 9th of April, they met again, in a meeting that would mark the launch of "Spring of Youth." Yael says she has never felt anger or frustration over her handlers not telling her the exact time of the operation. "That's how we work and its one of the essential elements for anyone working in covert activities," she clarifies. "I think that knowing only my task, made me feel less concerned, I was to act normally." "Later on, after I had returned to Israel, I met with Mike and told him that I never raised the thought that a mission would be launched without me knowing beforehand. Mike explained to me why it was important to compartmentalize me from the rest of the operators. He also said that the naivety with which I accepted the happenings around me protected me and assured that I would act naturally and trustingly. " Yael remained in Beirut for five days after the operation. She was alone, in a hostile environment, while the local authorities were conducting a manhunt to find anyone responsible for helping the Israelis. Documents which later fell into her hands show that from the onset of the planning stages, she was to be obscured from IDF forces, so that she would not need to be evacuated, lest an emergency, and would leave Lebanon in a normal manner at the first possible window. Did you know you were left alone, that the others had left? "I didn't know about the others, because I was instructed to cut ties with headquarters so as not to risk my safety. I had final instructions which I received from 'Caesarea' headquarters after the operation, and at first I tried to stick with them. I was told to leave my apartment immediately, and go to a hotel, telling the landlord that I am too afraid to stay in an apartment in a neighborhood where things like this happen, and that I should fly to Belgium after a week for a vacation. But when I approached my landlord, with whom I had a good relationship, and told him that I was afraid and wanted to leave, he looked frightened and told me that It was a terrible idea, that every sudden departure would raise suspicions. He told me I could live with him and his family until things calmed down. He brought one of his friends, whom I knew, in order to convince me. He too repeated that leaving suddenly would make me look suspicious, because they were looking for Americans." So what did you do? "I was in a dilemma; whether to follow instructions or go with what I thought was right at the time, so I decided to act according to the advice of my Lebanese friends. Zvi Zamir later told me that I was the only agent to ever ignore his instructions, and with his typical smile added: 'But the outcome was good.'" How was the atmosphere in Beirut after the operation? "It was really tense and people were very suspicious. People filled the street and chanted outside, people who looked like high ranking officials. Most of the stores in the area were closed. I remember getting dressed and going downstairs to send the letter I had written. From their, I went to the library and the salon, I tried to keep up my normal appearances." Where you afraid? "Not really. Now when I think back, it seems scary. It scares me that I wasn't afraid. Maybe the fact that I was American, that I didn't grow up like the Israelis - fearing the Arab street, it made me immune at the time. I was also stuck in my routine, doing everything to maintain the trust. When I told the landlord I was flying to Belgium, he told me he wanted to drive me to the airport so he could protect me." Do you remember the feeling of taking off from Beirut? "Alongside the huge relief that I felt, I thought about the nice landlord, and my Lebanese friends who asked to protect me, and rejected any suspicion. They were all nice to my cover story, the filmmaker, but what if they knew my true identity, things would probably be different. Even now with the book set to be published, I think about the nice people living on Al Waleed Street in Lebanon, and how they would take the news, they would probably be furious. Did them leaving you in Beirut raise any questions for you? "It was specifically Mike, who knew me better than I know myself, who raised the issue in a conversation we had after I got back. He said he was the one who made the call to leave me in Beirut and asked me what I thought about it. I told him I thought it was a good decision. But he insisted on explaining the reasons and judgments he reached after rigorous staff work, and after seeking advice from the head of the Mossad, before they made the decision. What worried them was my personal safety, maintaining my cover story, and the possibility of retaining my cover so I could continue my missions. They believed that in order to maintain my ability to operate out of Arab countries, it was best for me to leave the scene in a relaxed and normal fashion. They left me so I wouldn't 'burn cover,' so I could continue my job as a fighter. In hindsight that was the right thing to do because it worked. I didn't burn my cover, and participated in other operations. With that said, today and I understand that I took a big risk." The Secret "I didn't speak about it for many years" The idea for the book came from Mike Harari. Efrat Mes, who wrote the book "With Open Eyes," with Zvi Zamir, contacted Harari during the writing process. After Zamir's book was published, Harari asked Efrat if she was willing to write about "Spring of Youth" and the role Yael played in it. The book, "Yael- female Mossad warrior in Beirut" came about as a result. Yael is unwilling to speak about the other operations she took part in. The book only mentions that these were bold operations, one of which earned Yael the Chief of Staff's commendation. But Yael does talk about meeting Prime Minister Golda Meir a month after the operation in Beirut. "Zamir and Mike took me to Golda, in order to show her what a female fighter looked like," Yael says. "She thought that everyone in the Mossad was some muscular hero. She was stunned when I entered the room, and said: 'This little girl did all of that?' We spoke in English. She sat me down next to her on the sofa, and when we left she hugged and kissed me." Only a few months after you came back to Israel your dad came to visit. "He obviously didn't know anything about it. This secret, which sat between me and my parents, is one of the things I struggled with most. My father came to Israel right after the Beirut operation, and I was really worried that someone would recognize me in the street. He wanted to travel with me to a bunch of places all over Israel, but I couldn't. The office didn't want someone who happened to be in Beirut to recognize me. I assume I was acting strangely in his eyes, and I believe he knew something was up, intuitively, but he never asked any questions. The office took him to visit military bases, and a submarine. My cover at the time was that I worked in the computer division of the Defense Ministry. I didn't see my parents a lot during those years, and I kind of felt like I was missing out in that I couldn't share my life with them. I often asked myself if they would be proud of me. Lately, before the book release, I spoke with family members who told me that if my parent would have known, they would have been very proud. It was good to hear that, but the question will continue to haunt me to the end of my days." Was it hard to keep such a main part of your life secret for so many years? "The fact that you can't share your life with others is one of the hardest things about being a Mossad agent. It takes a certain personality. During all those years I never had a best friend. After finishing my service I wrote a diary. Efrat Mes was the first person I spoke to openly, and who became a friend." What made you decide to write the book? "It was Mike Harari's idea. I had mixed feelings about it, I still feel like I'm doing something that is not allowed. I didn't speak about these things for many years, even with other agents, and it also goes against policy. But Mike wanted to. It was important for him to explain "Caesarea's" role in this big operation." As someone who grew up on Mata Hari and similar stories, its difficult not to ask how much is expected of female agents in terms of using their femininity for operation purposes. "I used my femininity on several occasions, but I never used my body in order to be accepted or gain trust in the places I worked. I felt like maintaining boundaries was one of the strong points of being a woman and that was also the message I got from my superiors. I was never expected to sleep with someone on the job, the opposite was true - and even more so, that was the policy. In one instance I wanted to eat in a hotel's dining room, and I was asked if I was alone. When I answered yes, they told me that they do not serve unaccompanied women. They feared that prostitutes would start coming into the hotel. But my femininity usually got me where I wanted to go. When I walked pass the houses of three of the targets, the guards asked me what I was doing there. I told them I lived there. They said 'alright,' and left me alone. They never asked me again, even in the following days, when I went to the vegetable store which was adjacent to their building. People like pretty women. This held true for the landlord in Beirut as well, but he never crossed the line, I always got very gentleman like treatment from him." In the collective memory of Operation Spring of Youth, most people remember Sayeret Matkal's mission commander Ehud Barak dressing up as a woman. Does it bother you that the Mossad's role was minimized? "We weren't expecting any credit; we were used to being out of sight. Personally I felt ok with it. I lived peacefully with the fact that we worked in the shadows, I wasn't looking for public acknowledgment. It was my mission and I accomplished it. But sometimes I did ask myself why they didn't mention us more. Mike passed away while the book was being written. He was on his deathbed when he asked Zvi Zamir to help move the book along. That's how important it was to him." Do you every regret devoting your life to the Mossad? For the personal cost you had to pay. "No. I was an active operative for 14 years, and I would have stayed longer, but I was getting physically weaker, and I had to stop. I was very proud of what I had done. I would want to do more." Regardless, from the book we can understand that you paid a price, realistically giving up on intimate and romantic relationships. "Truthfully, I wasn't all that interested in getting married. My first marriage was very difficult, and I was afraid that would happen again. But it is truth that during my years of service I never gave relationships a chance to grow. After "Spring of Youth", I fell in love with a man I met in Brussels, and I never even thought about letting the relationship grow without Mike's advice. I took him to meet with Mike, and Mike told me "follow your heart," and I went - but I quickly ended that relationship too." Can you be an agent with a husband and kids? "I wouldn't have been able too. As a matter of fact, I only met my current husband, Johnny, a short while before I retired from the Mossad. It's not by chance that this happened after I finished my role as a field agent, it was only then that I was ready for it. We met during one of my attempts to learn Hebrew in an ulpan. He was a teacher there and he "ruined" my Hebrew studies. But in all the years before, I never felt like I was missing out, quite the opposite. Those years gave my life meaning. That's exactly what I told Mike in our first meeting: 'I want to be worth something. I want to do something worthwhile' - and that I have accomplished." http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4697778,00.html

Arab family of 'Mossad agent' captured by Islamic State deny he's a spy

    13.2.2015, 9:16
media thumbnail Family members of Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam from Jerusalem were surprised on Thursday to learn he was captured by the Islamic State in Syria and has been accused of being an agent of the Israeli Mossad spy agency. Musallam's father, Said, denied his son was a spy, saying he went missing after traveling as a tourist to Turkey. Muhammad then phoned home, saying he had been abducted to neighboring Syria but could buy his way out, his father said. "He said, 'Dad, I need $200 or $300 so they will let me go,'" Said Musallam told Reuters. Before he could send the money, he said, another man phoned to inform him Muhammad had escaped his captors but had been seized by the Islamic State group. In an interview published by Islamic State's online English-language magazine Dabiq, Musallam said he had joined the insurgent group in Syria in order to report to the Israelis on its weapons caches, bases and Palestinian recruits. After his conduct aroused the suspicion of Islamic State commanders, Musallam was quoted as saying he broke cover by phoning his father in East Jerusalem - leading to his capture. "When I saw his picture today I was shocked," Ahmad, Muhammad's brother, told Ynet. "I saw how he looks with a beard and hair, if you had seen him before you'd understand he looks completely different." According to Ahmad, his brother was an average 20-year-old that had no ties to Islam. "He served in the fire department in East Jerusalem and three months ago he told us he had a firefighting course and that's why he'll be gone from home for a few days," Ahmad said. "After many days in which he did not make contact with us and we were searching for him, we turned to the police and it was then we learned there was no course organized by the fire department and that he actually went to Turkey without telling us." The family didn't think much of Muhammad's trip to Turkey, thinking that he went on holiday, as he spent a week in Jordan recently, visiting with family there. "After we found out he went to Turkey, he contacted us and said he was in Syria. He said people took him on a trip from Turkey and that he didn't know where in Syria he was," Ahmad said. The last time Muhammad contacted the family was a month ago. "He contacted me through Facebook and told me he was in Syria, traveling, feeling good and that everything was okay," Ahmad said. Ahmad said that the police were the first to offer the possibility that his brother had joined the Islamic State. "My father and brother were questioned, but at first we didn't accept that theory. I know Muhammad, he would always post cartoons against Daesh," Ahmad said, using the Arab name for the radical Islamist group. A friend of his who spoke to Reuters, however, said Musallam had posted pro-Islamic State messages on social media, but no social media accounts could be found under Musallam's name. Eventually, the family realized Muhammad did indeed join the Islamic State, which caused his mother's health situation to deteriorate considerably, Ahmad said. "In one of the last conversations we had, he said his passports were taken and he has no way to come back. My father tried to transfer money to him so he could return but he hasn't spoken to us since," he said. The family, however, refuses to accept the claim Muhammad went to Syria as a spy and says he was kidnapped. "It can't be. He's a man that has no connections to these things," Ahmad said, but could not explain why his brother failed to inform the family he was going to Turkey and from there to Syria. An Israeli security official said Musallam traveled to Turkey on October 24 in order to fight for the Islamic State in Syria. "He went on his own initiative, without his family's knowledge," the official told Reuters. Asked whether his statement constituted a denial that Musallam was an Israeli spy, the official said: "You can understand it that way, yes." "Now that we've seen the images of horror with the Jordanian pilot, we don't know what to do. I don't think he'll return to us," Ahmad said. In recent weeks, the family tried to contact international organizations so they could help Muhammad in Syria. "They showed willingness to help and asked him to go to certain areas. We told him to do that but I guess he failed." ** Worried that members of its 20-percent Arab minority might travel to Syria or Iraq to join Islamist insurgent groups and then return radicalized and battle-ready, Israel has stepped up monitoring and prosecution of suspected would-be volunteers. Turkey draws many Arab holidaymakers from Israel. It is also a major conduit for foreigners who slip across the border to help insurgents trying to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. In the first conviction of its kind, Israel in November jailed Ahmed Shurbaji, an Arab citizen who returned voluntarily after spending three months with the Islamic State in Syria. He received a relatively light term of 22 months in return for cooperation with security services that would likely "help the State of Israel defend itself against this organization in various ways," the court said, in a possible allusion to information he provided about Islamic State. A source in the Shin Bet, Israel's internal security agency, said Israeli Arabs returning from Syria were routinely questioned for intelligence on jihadi groups. Shurbaji had phoned an Israeli security official from Syria to broker a deal. The Shin Bet source said such communications with Israeli Arabs who wanted to return from Syria had sometimes been handled by Ayoob Kara, an Israeli Druze politician and former army officer close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Contacted by Reuters, Kara said he was aware of Musallam's case and did not believe he was a Mossad spy. While declining to discuss Musallam in detail, Kara said he knew of several young (Israeli) Arabs who had gone to Syria to aid refugees or for the thrill of available women or booty, only to be kidnapped and exploited by insurgents like the Islamic State group.

Vulture in Saudi Custody Suspected as Mossad Agent

    4.1.2011, 20:41
media thumbnail Saudi Arabian security forces have captured a vulture that was carrying a global positioning satellite (GPS) transmitter and a ring etched with the words "Tel Aviv University." They suspect the bird of spying for Israel, Maariv-NRG reported Tuesday. The GPS and ring were connected to the bird as part of an long-term project by Israeli scientists that follows vultures' location and altitude for research purposes. The arrest of the vulture - whose identification code is R65 - comes several weeks after an Egyptian official voiced the suspicion that a shark that attacked tourists off the Sinai shore was also acting on behalf of Mossad. The incidents may reflect a growing irrational hysteria among Arabs surrounding Israel's military prowess and the efficacy of its intelligence services, possibly fueled by the Stuxnet virus' success.. Maariv said that the R65 was caught near the home of a sheikh in the community of Hayel in Saudi Arabia. The words "Tel Aviv University" etched in English on a ring clasped to its leg, and especially the transmitter, caused the finders to suspect espionage and alert the security forces. Ohad Hatzofe, bird ecologist for the Nature and Parks Authority, said that the vulture story has been making the rounds in Arabic internet sites, including Al-Jazeera forums and Arabic military forums. "The subject is receiving great publicity and it is important that Saudi authorities understand that it is not true. There is also an international treaty of nature protection professionals, that forbids doing things like this," he added. The researchers said that seven vultures that were marked in Israel in the last few years reached Saudi Arabia. Transmissions from four of them have ceased and they are presumed dead. One vulture - beside R65 - is still alive and flying around Saudi Arabia, after spending the winter in Sudan.

French Report ISIL Leader Mossad Agent

    15.9.2014, 22:45
media thumbnail Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, so-called "Caliph," the head of ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant is, according to sources reputed to originate from Edward Snowden, an actor named Elliot Shimon, a Mossad trained operative. Simon Elliot (Elliot Shimon) aka Al-Baghdadi was born of two Jewish parents and is a Mossad agent. We offer below three translations that want to assert that the Caliph Al-Baghdadi is a full Mossad agent and that he was born Jewish father and mother: The real name of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is "Simon Elliott." The so-called "Elliot" was recruited by the Israeli Mossad and was trained in espionage and psychological warfare against Arab and Islamic societies. This information was attributed to Edward Snowden and published by newspapers and other Web sites: the head of the "Islamic State" Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has cooperated with the U.S. Secret Service, British and Israel to create an organization capable of attracting terrorist extremists from around the world. Source: Radio ajyal.com Another source corroborates this statement, the site Egy-press: With photo support, a Iranian media discovers the true identity of the Emir Daash, a trained Zionist agent. Iranian intelligence discovered the true and full identity of the Emir Daash, which is known under the name Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi; his real name is Elliot Shimon. Its role in Mossad secret agent in the Zionist espionage. His false name: Ibrahim ibn Awad ibn Ibrahim Al Al Badri Arradoui Hoseini. The plan: get into the military and civilian heart of the countries that are declared as a threat to Israel in order to destroy to facilitate thereafter, the takeover by the Zionist state on the entire area of the Middle East in order to establish Greater Israel. Here are the borders of the Zionist project, the "Greater Israel" or "Eretz Israel" for short. These facts confirm the first that came out a few days ago, confirming that the Caliph Rolex is sent to Israel to sow chaos in neighboring countries the Zionist entity. Please note that EIIL announced it a few days ago that, to want to now take the "barbarians Jews", a reference to Zionists besiege Gaza. Practice! Having devastated the area of Israel, it will now allow the Americans and the Israelis to show the fingers as bloody terrorists to shoot at faster to defend the Zionist state, while the same let them proliferate and act with impunity for over two months now. Prepare a project they probably from the famous Arab Spring with the destabilization of Iraq, Sudan, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Mali (among others). Clever! Listen and listen again Bernard-Henri L'evy on these so-called Arab Spring: After gathering the most fanatical of the world in one place, a veritable army of the devil is formed, filled with bloodthirsty murderers without mercy for their victims, they murder with a vengeance and in cold blood, filming their atrocities and relaying on social networks. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2014/08/04/french-report-isil-leader-mossad/

Mysterious life and death of Australian Mossad agent

    13.2.2013, 13:24
media thumbnail Mysterious life and death of Australian Mossad agent DEBKA file Special Report February 13, 2013, 12:30 PM (GMT+02:00) Ben Zygier, Australian citizen and Mossad agent, was not the first Prisoner X to be held secretly in an Israeli jail. Double agents caught after turning traitor or crossing the lines into crime for personal motives are the exception - but not unknown in most spy agencies. In the 1950s, Israeli agent Mordecai (Mottele) Kedar was secretly incarcerated for many years for betraying his mission. The Australian ABC went to great lengths to uncover the story of the Israeli-Australian double citizen, aka Ben Alon, who committed suicide on Dec. 15, 2010 at the age of 34 in a top-security cell of Ayalon Prison where he was held in solitary confinement. A former inmate of that cell is said to have been Yitzhak Rabin's assassin Yigal Amir. After a longstanding Israeli gag order, his name was finally released for publication Wednesday, Feb. 13. According to ABC, after his death, his body was flown to Melbourne, Australia, where his family, active in the local Jewish community, buried him one week later. The headstone on his grave bears his name and the dates of his birth and death. The ABC investigation disclosed that an autopsy was conducted by the Israeli Forensic Institute which issued a death certificate listing the cause of death as asphyxiation by hanging in the name of Ben Alon. Also found was a second Australian passport in the name of Ben Allen. An Israeli organization called ZAKA, religious volunteers known for recovering the remains of Jewish terrorism victims, arranged for the body to be flown to Melbourne. ABC reporters left no stone unturned to discover the reason for the extraordinary cover-up by the Israeli government. Was this a matter of national security? And what did the Australian authorities know? When Ben Zygier died in that prison what questions were asked by Australian diplomats and what were they told? And, finally, how did he manage to kill himself in a top-security cell under constant surveillance? A senior Israeli intelligence official, who remained anonymous, told Australian TV that if what Ben Zygier did and knew were made public, it would pose an immediate threat to Israel as a nation state. International protocols demand that when a foreign national is jailed or dies, their diplomatic mission must be informed. The Australian new investigators assumed that whatever crime or sin Ben Zygier committed, it must have involved espionage, possibly treachery, and very, very sensitive information endangering Israel. Still, despite their best professional efforts, ABC's reporters did not find a single lead to the mysterious story of Prisoner X or verify any wild conjectures. One tied him to various episodes in which Israeli Mossad undercover agents were found operating on Australian passports; another, to the Iranian defector, Gen. Ali Ashgari, who disappeared from his hotel in Istanbul with suitcases full of Iranian nuclear secrets. They were only able to establish that Ben Zygier was a lawyer by profession. One of the many questions still open is how was he able to commit suicide? Warren Reed, a former Australian secret service agent, disclosed that not only are cameras installed in this type of cell, but sensors which measure the inmate's heart, respiration and perspiration rates. How did his watchers fail to notice that he had stopped breathing and his heart was no longer beating? One possible answer is that in the Mossad training courses he underwent, he was taught how to take his own life under the noses of his captors, and used this method to kill himself. Early Wednesday, the Australian Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the minister, Bob Carr, had ordered a new investigation into Canberra's conduct in the affair, after it emerged that Israeli authorities had told a diplomat at the Australian Embassy in Tel Aviv about the arrest of Australian citizen Ben Zygier. But the diplomat never relayed the information to Canberra through the conventional channels, he said. DEBKAfile: "Conventional channels" is a term used in inter-governmental intelligence relations. Its use may indicate that the Tel Aviv embassy passed the Israeli notice to the Australian spy agency - not the "conventional channels" of the foreign ministry. This comment opens up more suggestive enigmas: Who was Ben Zygier, or Ben Allen, working for? Was it the Israeli Mossad or Australian intelligence - or both? In any case, the Australian authorities may have had their own reasons for cooperating in the tight information clampdown imposed by Israel on the Ben Zygier affair.

Remember This - Report: Algeria Arrests Mossad Agent With Fake Spanish Passport

media thumbnail http://www.haaretz.com/news/report-algeria-arrests-mossad-agent-with-fake-spanish-passport-1.265505 Report: Algeria arrests Mossad agent with fake Spanish passportFBI Deputy Director John Pistole visited Algeria to negotiate alleged spy's release, Ennahar El Djadid reports.By Haaretz Service Mar.30, 2010 1:50 PM Algerian authorities have arrested an Israeli Mossad agent carrying a fake Spanish passport in the city of Hassi Messaoud near an Egyptian office providing service for oil companies, Algerian Ennahar El Djadid newspaper reported on Tuesday. According to the Algerian sources, the Mossad agent entered Algeria under the fake identity of a 35-year old Spanish man named Alberto Vagilo, and spent over ten days in the country prior to his arrest. The report came a week after an Israeli citizen who went missing for several days in Algeria, who was also carrying a Spanish passport, raised suspicions that he might have been kidnapped by al-Qaida. The man notified the Foreign Ministry that he contacted his family and that he was safe. The Algerian paper also reported that the Mossad man received entry visas through a European embassy before traveling to the country via Barcelona. According to the Algerian sources, deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), John Pistole visited Algeria last Thursday to negotiate on behalf of the Israeli citizen, as there are no diplomatic relations between Israel and Algeria. Ennahar El Djadid went on to report that the man has a good command of Arabic, is well acquainted with the city, and even participated in the Muslim prayers in the Bilal Ibn Rabah mosque. London-based pan Arab daily ASharq al-Awsat reported last week that the Algerian government suspected that an Israeli citizen was abducted by Al-Qaida after he entered the country using a Spanish passport. According to the report, the man was first held by locals and afterwards was sold to the al-Qaida terrorist organization. The Islamist organizations usually reveal the identities of their abductees after several days.

Francouzská agentura Reportéři bez hranic (Reporters Sans Frontières neboli RSF) vydala minulou středu svou tiskovou zprávu o svobodě světového tisku za rok 2016, a nebylo to veselé čtení.

Už i Rakousko bude stavět plot proti uprchlíkům. V Evropě může dojít ke konfliktu. Vážná slova generála Šedivého

    29.04.2016, 04:43

Měnová válka Západu proti Rusku a devizová kontrola

    Valentin Katasonov 28.04.2016, 01:10
